I ordered mine off Ebay in April I think...hope the guy I dealt with is solid. Anyone know how long an order will exist in Ebay before it totally exits system and Paypal will not pay you back? That's what sucks about paying upfront :-x

Still says Aug in my HLJ order. so hopefully it's just one store? Either way it doesn't matter too much, we've waited over 6 months, whats another month.

yeeaahh... id never preorder anything off ebay. anyone correct me if im wrong, but i beleive you have one month after auctions end to report a problem or open a case. so if that time has lapsed and the thing hasnt even been released yet you could be SOL. that is of coarse if the seller is a d-bag.

Yeah, Masterpiece doesn't tend to use non-Japanese artists' artwork.

Because in G2 Lambor's case, they definitely used Derek Yaniger's designs for the headsculpt!

Same with ths02 first edition Convoy with the black solar powered armor. It also sported 2 Yaniger style heads.

"Doesn't tend to" isn't the same as "doesn't ever". It just means that they don't make a habit of using artwork from non-Japanese sources. Lambor G-2 Ver. is a notable example of such rare instances in which they do. But all the main line releases seem to use Japanese artwork unique to those releases.
