I was always a fan of Omnimon.
He's like the Darth Vader of Digimon.
btw, I've declared ShadowKatt my unofficial rival.

What that got to do with Mewtwo and Vader, the likes of which Vader is superior.

George Lucas never made one bit of Star Wars that contradicted any other part. Jedi have always had super powers like that. end of story. Vader still wins.

Didn't Yoda teach everything obiwan knew about the force? Then who is this Qui gon jinn guy? Isn't that a contradiction? First he said the lightsabers were supposed to be weilded like big powerful weapons and then they start swinging them like toothpicks in the new movies.

In the all the movies the greatest show of force control was lifting big rocks. Nothing near to crashing down a Star Destoyer.

From what I have read and seen Exar Kun seemed much more powerful than Palpatine. Wikipedia isn't the most reliable source. Especially in those cases

Exar I think was also more powerful but Sideous was greater because of the first galcatic empire. Obi-wan said a lightsaber was an elegant weapon, not a big hulking thing. Luke even wielded it with ease. All jedi in the movies except for Anakin have been trained by Yoda at some point in time, he teaches padawans basics. there is no contradictions.

Not quite. Yoda trains all the younglings (Or at least most of them) so it can be assumed that he trained Obi-Wan, both before being taken on by Qui-Gon, and probably for the short time until Obi-Wan became a Knight himself.

Evank_Horizon wrote:First he said the lightsabers were supposed to be weilded like big powerful weapons and then they start swinging them like toothpicks in the new movies.

I fail to see how a blade that has no weight whatsoever could be wielded like it was "Big and Powerful." Luke was only partially trained in Lightsaber combat, and even then it was by old, soon-to-be-dead people. Vader had trouble moving, Obi-Wan was very old, and Yoda lost his Lightsaber in the fight with Palpatine.

I'd go w/Mewtwo here. He can shoot shadow balls, fly, teleport, make clones, & put people under his conrtol. And all at the same time too. Vader loses here. Even if he does have a shiny red lightsaber..... :?

Notice he said movie. Frankly, everything outside the movies just seems so damned overblown. Superheros are weaker in movies than they are in comics. But this is the opposite. These characters started in movies and went to comics. When RotS was 90% digital, Lucas either couldn't either show what the Force is supposed to do, or actually showed it as it was intended to be. And, due to the previous statement, I think the later wrings truer.

In the movies it was said that the force was limitless. pulling a star destroyer isn't contradicting the movies. Yoda himself said weight has nothing to do with the force.

Just really saying, if the force is limitless, and these characters in the prequals are some of the best users, than I still don't see why they were tossed around like rag dolls in the plot and not actually using some of that muscle. Then, by logic, they're either wimps, or never had the power to begin with.

The Force, like a lightsaber, takes years of training. To master a lightsaber you must practice for years and work hard daily. The Force is even harder, it takes decades to understand and control its full power.

Seriously it doesn't matter whether or not a Sith can do this. Using this much power would kill a sith. Look what Palpatine did to himself when he unleashed some of his power. The dark side is an easier path but it will destroy you.

That said, EVEN if Vader could pull this off (wich I highly doubt he could), Mew-two would counter the attack without breaking a sweat. And he would finish the now exausted Vader.

Why couldn't he do that to stop the Millenium Falcon? Why couldn't he use this power to just smite Obi-Wan?

If this much power was available to siths why would they need lightsabers in the first place? If I remember well Yoda (Who seemed relatively much older than Ben in Ep4) gave up fighting using the force against Tyranus and started swinging his lightsaber like it was a toothpick.

Using the lightsaber hasn't as much to do with training with it than training with the force. That's why Luke could block lasers without seing them even if he owned a lightsaber for only a week.

Although light doesn't weight anything (or not much at least) nothing is said about how lightsaber realy work. Light isn't supposed to be tangible either. Star Wars is not Science Fiction but Space Opera. The only way I could imagine light looping like that would be by creating a small black hole and shooting the laser in a very precise tragectory. That could justify the weight but not the tangibility. A forcefield maybe? But why having a laser in it then?

The moogle would win....

Darth Kitty's lightsaber is soft red and smells like strawberries. It's also about as damaging as that lightsaber sold at Dr. Ventures yard sale.
