There will be a rest in HMW in a few weeks or so. All of the following will be lost - energon, experience, armour and weapons. The following will be kept - names, bios, and alt modes. In addition to the reset, there'll be a new map-based Risk-style gameplay, minicons, masters, new alt mode class, new tactics, and an overhauls weapons system.

I guess overhauling the entire game and making sure everybody's individual experience energon and weapons would be a near-impossible task. I'm quite glad about it myself, it's nice to have a chance to start afresh!
