You're doing something that Hasbro wouldn't have the balls to do - an Alternator Gestalt.
Good luck and have fun with this!

I like his head being a little small. It makes him more Brute-ish.

Just thought I would share some updates.
I just built his entire chest peice/car and had to make the wheels retract so it'll clip onto his chest.
Enjoy!

huh. how do you keep the wheels out so it rolls? I guess it's too late, but I wonder if a chestplate built into his body wouldn't have been easier. I imagine he doesn't have any storage space for it like the G1 toy does...
Also, you said Motormaster was done? Are you not going to maybe putty over the Prime detail molding on his forearms and groin-plate?
should drastically different when all painted up. can't wait.

The chest plate is very light so the wheels don't retract when in car mode so it does role freely.
As for being done I was talking more about Construction. I still have to fine tweek and finnish details. In about a week he should be ready for paint aps.
Then I can focus on finnishing Grimlock and WW Megs.

Nice trick with the wheels, might i suggest adding springs to them so they pop into place when removed from the chest.

Good idea but i would have to choose the springs carefully to do that. Don't need it shooting off the chest unexspectedly....

All right, while working on the cab details yesterday I kind cut my pinky with my scalple and almost cut the tip all the way off.
Here's is both results of working on that cab.
Enjoy the mild gore.

I hope to get back to work on him tomarrow. You guys can't see it but i also scratchbuilt some Mudflaps for the Cab's wheels. They look cool.
