I've been thinking of that. Or I may go with the origional intent of making him alternator Optimus Primal. I've been putting this guy off forever. I also finally gave up on adding the fenders to the arms. Only took 3 shells.

Wow... simply stunning.
I can't remember... does WW Megs carry a shield like that, or is that a mod on your part because it was necessary for the transformation?
And what's the green circle on the chest made from? It looks kind of like it lights up or glows in the dark...

I wouldn't say exactly like that.
The blade that comes out of the sheild is alot smaller but I thought it would look gumpy so I widened it.
I'm robot mode the sheild stores on his shoulder as seen in the comic.
The centerpeice in the left side of the chest is actually the top to a Asprine bottle and the yellow part/green part is actually half a rubber ball.
Hope that answers your questions.

Ok...this will prob be the last update for awhile untill he's done but please...don't quote me on that...
Anyhoo, enjoy.
I redid the blade to where it's more accurate, added on of the his launchers but I still have to make the other one with final details...
Got lots of little chores left for this guy but he's pretty much done save the rest of the details.

I dunno, it looks like he has hands on his elbows instead of proper lower arms.
It only seems in proportion with the head and legs, so it also might be that the chest and shoulders are too big. It could also be the result of using Alt arms (?) for a base on MP-Prime.

No offence but you have NO IDEA what you're talking about.
I have studied every picture I have of WW Megatron and taking into account every angle detail as well.
If anything the arms aren't too short but the lower arms aren't as wide as they should be and the massiveness of the shoulders just make them dwarf in comparrison.
One last thing...PEOPLE need to STOP calling 6" Titanium Megatron War Within Megatron.
HE ISN"T. We have yet to see a Titanium Megstron be released but rest assured, from DON'S own lips....NOT WW MEGS!

I checked my WW comics, and the torso and arms still seem out of proportion. It might be the angle of the pic though, so could you give us a pic of the front?

I find it odd when people want to offer up "advice" on things without all the information.
I'm not going to go into how well this matches the comic, that's been covered. I'm going to discuss basic proportions.
If you take the arms and set them straight down at his sides you'll see the hands fall, about, 1just above 1/2 way betwen the knee and hip. this is what we, as humans, expect from something that's "in proportion". People with longer arms tend to look "ape"-like to use, people with shorter arms seem odd, though we'd usually be hard pressed to explain why.
Next, his arms are about 1/2 the size of his legs. Again, about what we expect from most people (looking at upper arms and upper legs, though vs. bicep/tricep).
The only thing that looks "out" are the shoulders. But they're armor, theyre' supposed to be larger. Similar to knights armor or, more closely, the shoulder pads of a football player.
If you block out the shoulder pads, the arms match almost perfectly. This is a damn good bit of work, making something that not only transforms, but looks like a "man in armor" when in robot mode (which most transformers tend to have, especially in comics and TV).

Dude, everything on the comics is out of proportion. They draw a human form and wrap transformer bits around them. You have to make some judgment calls to make the vehicle mode actually work not to mention give it some of your own personal flair to it.
If everything were perfect than the spychangers wouldn't have short stubby arms and beer bellys bigger than Energon optimus prime.

WRONG.
Real Story: Don told me that when they chose to do the WW Prime design as a titanium they also asked him to draw up the design for them to use of the GI-Joe Megatron that DW published. You know, the one where they were all World War inspired designs? Well, Hasbro FORGOT that Megatron in that series was again a realistic gun. The whole idea of making that Megatron got scrapped but the GI-Joe back story stayed and he had to redesign a whole new Megatron. It's is inspired by Hero Megs but was never meant to ge any Megs in specific save that he is suppose to be a new version of G1 Megstron.
I hope that clear this up finnaly.
