1) Michael Bay is a liar.

2) Megatron is in the movie (I think the tv spot confirms this). At one point, I don’t remember who associated with the film stated this, it was reported Megatron would be in the end of the film. I think this holds true.

I think the ‘Cons figure out there is technology on earth, namely at the pyramids, associated this Cybertron. Soundwave ascertains the technology is akin to a Lazarus chamber and that it could revive Megatron. The ‘Cons leave Cybertron and head back to earth to reclaim their fallen leader.

In the trailer there is a naval fleet that comes under attack. I think this “attack” is launched by Soundwave via his satellite mode. The projectiles seen in the trailer are, in fact, protoforms. (It would not surprise me if one is Ravage.) The protoforms dispatch the vessels guarding the Laurentian Abyss and dive down to recover Megatron. (Note—there was filming aboard US navy warships. This could be where that filming comes in).

Once the ‘Cons get Megatron they head to Egypt, and send out hunting parties to find Sam. For you see, they need the Allspark for the Lazarus chamber to fully work. The ‘Cons eventually capture Sam and haul him to Egypt where the final big bruha takes place with the Constructicons merging to form Devastator!

I also think the movie will end with either Optimus dying or his fate being uncertain.

i dunno where people keep getting the idea that megs comes back. He's been seen as a FAB not on screen what smacked prime could have been any decepticon.

If you look at the the superbowl spot trailer where someones pinning sam that's not starscream. And there's been reports of Megatron being a tank in TF2. In the same shot you see two sets of treads.
