A new article has been posted on USAToday.com called "Fan buzz: Flesh out those 'bots", written by Anthony Breznican.
The article talks about what the fan community and the movie developers want in the recently "green-lit" sequel to the Transformers Movie.
Several people, that you may recognize, were interviewed and the fans have a somewhat uniformed complaint: The Transformers sequel needs to focus on The Transformers!
This was brought up by none other than Seibertron himself when he was quoted to say, "I would totally love to see more robot interaction. Most of those characters don't get any development time at all. With a sequel, they have the opportunity to develop more with the Transformer characters and push that as far as it can go."
Also, Don Murphy is quoted to say to Peter Cullen that if a sequel were to be made, that Optimus would receive a bonus in screen time compared to the first movie.
