Working on a vehicle ferry I can assure you that flames are actually very common on semis.
There are two Peterbuilts that are frequent travellers that have flame schemes; one is light blue with dark blue flames, the other a red with fire-colored flames. Very cool looking.
I also see semis from all over the province, including some travelling from the US and while flames may not be the standard (but are there, as well) some are done up pretty nicely. Prime's paint scheme in the movie would not draw a noticeable reaction.
Here's the City Transfer truck we see every day:

Taken from here, which has a few others included.

That really is a gorgeous rig. I have many friends who are full blow truckers and they all love the look of the new prime. I really do like the blue on blue of that rig. Very shiney crome as well.

I think the above site has what most fans wanted to see. Just click on the VW transformer icon and scroll down.
Check out the Grimlock and Scavenger trailer.
I would prefer closer to G1 appearances in the film but I still like the trailers though. Prime on the hill really reminds me of Robotmasters Wrecker Hook while Starscream reminds me of Wingstun. At least the Robotmasters fans are being catered for. Whoever designed Frenzy should be ashamed of themselves.
Still, I'm looking forward to the film. Hated Beast Wars originally, now I consider it the best animated version.

My old man is a trucker, and he's totally ghey for the new Primemobile. More so than I would have imagined...

As far as trailers go, pretty good, but I've been burned by slick-looking trailers before, so I'm keeping my guard up.
The transform sound is quite a good modification, Prime and Bumblebee look awesome, but starscream is still bizarre and most of the rest do look like walking trashcans with junk magnetically attached to them. It doesn't quite convey the feeling of GIANT ROBOT that I was hoping for. More like giant wireframe with duct-taped scrap metal stuck to it really...
Still, everything together is pretty bad-ass looking.
Good. The more the better.

I was excited enough that they had him to the voice-over for the 20th Anniversary DVD, but having him do the actual live action movie as well is pure gold! That plus the little VW bug that movie Bumblebee parks beside in the trailer tells me that we're going to see a LOT of subtle nods to the original G1 series.
Good. The more the better.

I agree. I'm by no means a "movie hater" but I really don't like Starscream. It's not even the fact that he doesn't look like Starscream, I just quite simply don't like the design at all. Everyone else I like (except for Ironhide and Ratchet's faces).
