I'm probably putting this in the wrong place so don't try and choke me. I'm afraid of bodily harm. As the thread's name suggests I'm new to this site and despite knowing about Transformers for a long time I never got to read any of the comic books or watch the cartoons for one reason or another. I was little when they started showing Armada and keeping exact time of when a show came on was the last thing on my mind though I always thought the giant robots were cool. Like many people the Transformers movie (the new one, I've never seen the old one and since everyone who I now know about and like dies I don't think I can watch it) brought it back to my attention.

I can pretty much figure how the site works as far as posting and PMing goes on my own but I'd like someone to give me a bit of a tour and tell me a little more about it. If there's a thread about this then kindly give me a link to it. I'll still want help even after that most likely.

It looks like this site's an RP site as well as a general discussion board. If someone could just break it down for me then that'd be cool. Point me in the direction of the RP section. I need to work on my RPing and I'll definently need help RPing TFs, I've never done it before.

So this is a basic cry for help thingy.

And don't feel like you missed out on anything by not seeing Armada. Spend your time watching G1, then watch Beast Wars, then maybe Beast Machines. They run in continuity with each other, and represent the best of TFs and don't let anyone tell you different.

Robots in Disguise, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron (Or Pokeformers, as I call them) are nearly unwatchable, and embarrasing to me as a Transfan.

Well I was little when I first saw Armada so I couldn't tell cheesey from good. I tried to watch a few episodes the other day and I stopped myself. Still, that's what got me into the fandom so it's got a special place in the cheesey isle of my heart.

I suppose I'll find out any information on how to level up in a thread that's already been posted won't I? Someone wanna link me in the right direction?

you got that right hey Whinner-tron are you joining the Eradicons? What kind of name is that for a group oh well it works i guess as i was saying I'm still thinking about it I have no idea what they do though oh well

! One thing of advice DO NOT GET IN A FIGHT WITH Damolisher. I have seen many fights that go on for PAGES! they seem like a resonable peson but I really wouldn't consider starting any flame wars with them

I’m kind of new myself, I’ve only been hear two months.
As for Damolisher, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who’s tired of him and Tramp dragging threads into the dark abyss. I take comfort in the fact that at the rate he’s going, Damolisher will be permanently banned soon.

I must be the only one who actually agrees with Tramp.I think you guys just don't seee eye-to-eye, is all. He's not all bad.

Also Sherade, thanks for offering to help me. It's really appreciated.

Now I just have to know, is there any place on the boards for RPing? I mean I type an action, someone else does, and the story moves on. I'll need some help before I do anything like that. Are there any threads on Transformers physiology? I want to RP a medic.

Oh and I'm a chick/female/girl/femme or whatever else means the opposite of dude/male/boy/mech.

Yeah I just checked that out. It seems kind of strict. If I'm going to RP then I'm doing it with my characters. I haven't watch enough of the old cartoons to play any characters with even a small amount of accuracy and I'm not getting flamed for not portraying someone's favorite character right.

I'll PM a mod/admin/VIP and see if I can start up my own RPs in the RP forum. If not then I'll just post a new thread asking people to RP with me in the GD or something.

Armada came out what, 3-6 years ago? I think you still are little, no offence meant. Just you might be one of the youngest people here.

Whatever your age is nice first post. I see you allready figured out how to add images to your sig. Most newbies to the fourms have no clue how to do that. (yes even I was clueless on my first fourm)

Oh and he wasn't talking about Nuts as in metal parts, he was talking about me. I'm nuts as in crazy, insaine, wacky, often says things entirly at random for no apperent reason.
