I have done a little digging, and it seems that the Indiana Convention Center would fit the bill as far as past conventions go. It is not listed yet as an upcoming event, however there are no "mega-events" in June, so Botcon could still run concurrently with any of the listings on the site.
I'm not going to news this, but open it for discussion. Take this as a rumor for now, but I personally am inclined to believe him.

Sweet bro. KFC Buffet's and good times again man. Maybe we can rent a car this time if money allows.

I'm down with the buffet (no Whitecastle this time!), but I don't need no fancy rental car. My Sunfire will be fine. If we get a large carpool, I'll swap vehicles with my parents and get the mini-van.
This is, of course, this turns out to be true.

Counterpunch wrote:Homie...you know Munkeefist just made some BS announcement last year and the year before too, right?
He always does this.
He's very likely somewhere laughing about it now.

Wait a minute, didn't you say before that you wanted it in a "safe" city?

I've begun to seriously consider not going...

There's not a lot I know about Botcon 09 yet, but I do know 2 things.
1) You will, in fact go.

I dunno but a Botcon in Phoenix would be pretty kick ass to me. I love it down there.

Finally! Someone who agrees with me. I'm honestly surprised they have'nt used Phoenix yet. When you think about it, it really is one of the perfect locations to hold a Botcon.
