That would only depend on it's mass,speed of impact and angle of impact, it crashed at a very low angle to the ground, it was nearly horizontal at impact.

I agree, I doubt seriously one ship at the low flying angle would wipe all life out on earth.. it wasn't traveling that fast in the atmosphere.. it was in a static orbital posture when boarded by the decepticons, and fell to earth.. we just saw the abridged version because it was a cartoon..

I'll sign up, but the Ark better come with a bot shuttle and a little Mt St Helens

Officially, didn't the ark's crashing only set off the volcano, and cause a few earthquakes?


It would have to be travelling at a very high speed to cause the nuclear winter effect.

I've already signed up but How big we talkin' here, a foot couple of inches (or centimeters or meters for those Metric people.)

I beleive they were talked about being about being about 10 inches long. I could be wrong though

where Ravenstar is showing some of their works in progress, scroll down till you see the RacKar model Klingon ship.. that's about how large I think we could get, and still pay only around 50 bucks for it..not bad considering these ships have never seen their debut in toy or model format...and they would be hand crafted..

Of course the axalon and the darksyde should get the model treatment, maybe also ravage and depthcharges ships and the autobot shuttle. oooh and also protoform pods!!!

ok , quick update. i'll start on the ships this month .
I'm working on the scale /size and will post actuals this month. there will be two scales . a gaming scale , like micro machine size and a desk top size. 6 to 10 inchs.
I'll drop by later on and let you know how its going. peace

After looking at the quality of ravenstars models I am so geeked. I totally can't wait to see the ark and the nemesis in their G1 glory.

I know, and to top it off, i'd love to see Ravenstar do the Movuie ships too.. wouldn't that be cool to have a minifleet, and the bigger models on the shelf next to your Trasformers??

I was wondering what happened to this thread, I really want to see the progress of the ships because I am really interested in buying one of each.

If I remember correctly we should start seeing WIP pictures of the two ships by the end of the month right?
