Anybody else having issues with Jazz's or Ricochet's head popping off when you turn it?

It seems to be super loose on the ball joint, and just falls off when I try to transform him unless I pull it forward, but then it can't turn. The moment I try to turn it, it just pops off.

I've had no issues with PotP Jazz that I am aware of. The first couple waves of Selects figures, especially Red Swoop and Ricochet were floppy messes. They could barely stand on their own. I made them both Arms for my PotP Inferno combiner and left it at that. I wouldn't be surprised if there were issues of this type (head popping off/too loose).
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Thanks, yeah, my Selects Red swoop is rather floppy.

Ricochet is also quite floppy too beyond the loose head. Thought it may have been a mold issue, but if Jazz is not suffering for the same issue, then it may just be a Selects problem. I would not think mold degradation would be an issue at only the second use of a mold, but you never know.

It could very well be a case of tolerances being off with those releases when plastic colors were changed. From my experience, tho subtle in some cases, different colors of the same parts vary in tightness.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Might be true for Swoop, But in the case of Jazz and Ricochet, the neck and ball joint plastic is white on both.

Unless Jazz's head is black plastic and not just painted black, I don't see tolerances changing between one white plastic and an other.

Does it actually feel loose when he's faced forward? I think the problem is the ball joint, not the head. The ball looks like it has a lot of extra flashing around the seam that could be causing the head to pry itself off when you turn it. Smoothing it out might help.

No. It's pretty stiff when it faces forward. The moment I turn it, it's just a loose mess and comes off in my hands.

You may be onto something with the flashing. I'll see if I can sand it down, or use a sharp blade to remove it.
