Anybody else think that Power Rangers has some damn fine robots? The original Ultrazord in particular was a damn fine piece of work!

the new series which is in japan and will be in america next yr they all have big cats, a tiger, jaguar and cheetah as their main zords. as of recently they got an elephant. this site rocks and has all the info u want on all the japanese power rangers super sentai. http://www.supersentai.com/database/200 ... index.html

I happen to like the Super Sentai mecha that were sentient like TF's are. Like the MMPR ones (the Sentai versions at least), Lost Galaxy, Wild Force, Dino Thunder and Mystic Force.
My absolute favorite, sentient or not, would have to be either the Thunderstorm Megazord or Hurricane Megazord from Ninja Storm (would you believe it's my wife's favourite season, because of the cute Asian guys.... Should I be worried? :???:

).
Runners-up is the Valkasaurus Megazord from Dino Thunder. He just looks cool to me. The Supertrain Megazord from Lightspeed Rescue and Solar Streak Megazord from Mystic Force are honorable mentions. Hey, I like trains

My wife has the original Megazord, the Red Dragonzord and the White Tigerzord somewhere in her original home. I plan on finding them once we go to the states again, turning the place upsidedown if I have to

The original Megazord/Daizyujin will always be what I think of when I think Sentai mecha.

Also, the Space megazord from Power Rangers in Space/Megaranger, and that new supercombiner set they have in Boukenger (Operation: Overdrive...whatever) looks like its got perks.

Conversely, they should seriously stay the hell away from CGI Zords. Put a guy in the suit, or don't freaking bother me.

One of my usual dealers has offered me the Ultimate Black Daiboken (sp?) for around 100 bucks. Does it display well? Are there other mechs I would need to get the "full effect" out of it?

I'm a big Sentai fan, as it should be a tad obvious. One of my favorite Sentai Robos/Megazords was Grandliner/Supertrain Megazord from Lightspeed Rescue/GoGo V. I have the deluxe toy of him... he's bigger than Unicron!
