Hi guys,
Would anyone recommend this third party upgrade for Prime RID Megatron. The cannon looks way better.

If you like tf prime show accuracy then I would say its worth it. I dont collect tf prime as a continuity, so I have no interest in owning that particular mold as Megatron. But I do incorporate some tf prime molds into my classics universe. I use the sharticon megatron as a general in my sharticon army. And because of the botcon megaplex working so well with classics, I had no problem putting the twins in my classics collection as themselves. Same thing with takara 1st edition bulkhead and my army of predacons. The sets I can personally recommend are the upgrades for dreadwing and skyquake from SXS. Those guns are show accurate and so much better than the light up mech tech kiddie guns the figures came with. But getting back to megatron, if you like the look of the set, go for it. Its not super expensive and it increases show accuracy which is always a good thing. I notice you are showing interest in certain 3rd party and KO figures. You cant go wrong with this stuff. An enhanced collection is a happy collection. Welcome to the darkside.

Thanks for the reply, and sure if the price is right, I dont see why I cant have fun with third parties and KOs. It's not like Hasbro is losing any money on me. I am currently eagerly waiting for Apployon to be shipped since I preordered him.

Think the price is just right. As this is a similar price other 3rd parties. charge for replacement heads, limbs and weapons.
