I just say it's aweful how they would looking Prime in this case, Optimus is known that he got just a plate not a mouth, that Primal work NOT Optiums Ptime. That I think is such a damn decision after the edn that the Fans couldn't discuss to remove this idiotic idea away. THANKS A LOT MURPHY :-x

I think the best way to try that is by saying, screw this, i'm not going to see it. Oh yeah, the flames F*****G Suck too!!!

Maybe one day, the'll make a movie about you, and for updating puposes, they'll add a pair of tits to you. And thats alright cause nobody will have an opinion about it till after they've seen it.

Well seeing as how spidey cant make it through a movie without getting his mask shredded then yeah they give spidey a mouth because technically he is still in costume.

One of those semantics things. And yes Ryan did see 28 minutes of footage equallign 4 different scenes and it was nearly 2 months ago that he saw the footage. Amazing things can be done with computers when you have time to do them.

I think we already lose this fight at the beginning of the movie concept arts, they just blind our eyes, that we could have a chance to help with our ideas.

The front page makes it sound like Optimus Prime having something behind his face plate is a bad thing- hasn't he always had something? Skeletal mouth? Hole?

Other than him showing it off, is there some sort of blasphemy amongst Seibertronians about his mouth existing?

its not that he can't have a mouth, its just we don't want to see it exposed unless he gets kocked aroudn hard and part of the faceplate partially cracks off like in a few of the older comics. However, its not a question of him having a mouth, again faceplate to cover the mouth ALL the time is what we want, because look at him, he looks absolutely stupid with the lips.

Hey by the way, this is exactly who bay thinks we all are, and who they have in their studios helping make decisions on the Transformers movie, but whats funny is they say yes to everything, simply because they are excited to be acknowledeged..Or maybe its just to catch a glimpse of Megan Fox..

Maybe for some, but personally? I just don't like the way this particular mouth looks. If you MUST give him a mouth, at least make sure it doesn't render him unreckognizable, okay? I couldn't even tell that was Prime until it was pointed out.

Barricade, Bumblebee, and Blackout look great... Why do the other movie bots fall so far shprt by comparrison?

wouldn't having a faceplate on help cut down on work needed to be done with cgi? i mean thats one less INTRICATE part that needs to be animated. so all they'd really have to do is put the plate over the mouth, but again, the chances of it changing are literally 1 in several billion.

That's 10 frames each, less than a second. That's about 900 machines.

That's 30 frames in 6 weeks, which they don't really have, since the movie still isn't done entirely with the work schedule they're on now. That would mean less machines, but more time. Do they want to spend the money on more machines to render all that faceplate footage, or do they want to push back the release date? Don't count on them flipping a coin.

I'm going into CGI. It's a process and a half. "We the fans" is such a joke at this point I don't know if I want to laugh or cry. This makes a tidal wave look like a leaky faucet.

i think they already had the face plate footage done, and then they were told to go back and render the lips, and then Bay decided lips it is.. but Don and co.. said whoa hold up now.. ..so the "we still have a chance" is the big ruckuss they want us to throw, but its like they want to play on us to build contorvesy and hype for them in the fan community, its like people huddled around a fight, eventually people start gathering to get a view of whats going on...

Come to think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if they have footage both ways since they would have done it all long ago in the schedule.

But even if Orci and Kurtzman are fans, which I don't trust their definition of fan further than I can throw it, Michael Bay is not. Remember he said it was a stupid "toy movie". So he sees old shows and says "Well he didn't have a face plate all the time in Beast Wars, and we're doing kind of a mix sort of thing," and bam, no more faceplate, probably the most iconic thing about TF's out the door, like giving superman a giant R on his shirt.

Nothing can be done about it now.

I believe it was a certain pink and white autobot that nobody likes who said, "No hope. No hope at all."

Of course I can talk. I like the shot of him behind Sam with his mouth showing. It looks expressive and kind of scary at the same time.
