I have an original G1 Optimus Prime from my childhood (purchased around '85 I think).
I'd like to know about the version I have (I'll post some pictures up when I can).

I do remember one of my friends having an Optimus Prime bought around the same time but his Gun was different, slightly thicker and better IMO?

So I guess my question is how many versions of Prime where there in the first original toy line and what were the differences? :???:

Not really versions per se, but the parts had some variations between the runs. You can find them with this link
