The BRuticus KO isn't too good.Plastikov wrote:I noticed that in the Bruticus toy gallery at this site, the G1, G2, Ruination, chinese KO's, and some others versions of Bruticus were shown.
Obviously, someone at seibertron has the chinese ones, so i thought to ask if they are good, as long as one only want's these toys, but doesn't mind not getting sought after collectors items.
Are the chinese Bruticus and Devastator Knock-offs exact copys of the origanals, (they appear to be.) except for the colors/paint, and stickers? and what are they like in terms of qualliy?
...And also, what about the chinese WST combiners? does anyone have those, and could tell me what those are like?
Any information about these would be helpful.

The Chaos Bringer wrote:The Bruticus one is alright if you get the right one.
Be careful of this one:
That one is pretty bad quality and often doesn't fit together right.
This one:
is much better. It fits together and the plastic is slightly stronger.
This one:
The limb components are roughly the size of micromasters. Quality is decent.
This one:
I don't think the limbs can scramble on this one. The limbs are the size of WSTFs. Quality is decent.
In all versions, Onslaught's chestplate is missing and most, if not all(depending on the version you get) of the small guns are absent. Surprisingly, all versions come with Onslaught's ramp and missile emplacement so you can fully transform him into the battle platform mode.
Hope this helps.
The Chaos Bringer wrote:The Devastator Ko is pretty good actually.
As you can probably tell from the picture, this one is missing a lot of painted detail.
This one is properly painted and is surprisingly durable. I've heard of them falling off desks and coming out of it no worse for wear.(Don't try it though)
You can't see from the pictures but these actually do come with a few accessories for the constructicons. Mixmaster, for example, has his two drills. the WST versoin's accessories are purple unpainted plastic while the miscromaster version actually has crome in some places.
Hope that helps
The Chaos Bringer wrote:Not sure about the quick change system combiners but everything I do know about from that brand is pretty good. You can break their products if you aren't careful but nothing breaks just from touching it. They did some Robot Masters KOs and I think a few Classics KOs. I'm getting a few items from them for the holiday season and I have complete confidence in my purchases.
The Chaos Bringer wrote:All the Superion KOs are bad. Even the official Superion was bad. Don't let it affect your view of combiner KOs in general. Superion is just inherently bad.
The Chaos Bringer wrote:BTW any pics of your Superion KO? I'd like to see the packaging.
The Chaos Bringer wrote:Good gravy I've seen those![]()
BTW Have you seen the new carded Defensor yet? I don't have any family dollars around here that aren't in hoods so I don't have one yet but I hear the quality is excellent. And the best part is they're doing all the combiners like that. They're all full size like the box sets but they're carded in the combined mode so you know they fit together right.
Here's to hoping they finally get Menasor right.
galvamus prime wrote:Walgreens definitely has the Transformable Motorbot ones. I got Bruticus,Superion, and Devastator. I've always wanted the combiners, but never could fork over the money for genuine ones. They were five or six bucks for each entire set,a good buy (Kind of..). Bruticus is great, looks genuine, and stays together pretty well. Superion is put together almost exactly like Bruticus. Devastator is put together "meh"-ly,the bottom half goes together fine, but the top half..

Well..I had to put them on with tape if that says anything. There also pretty small,I mean you know how they look about 3 times normal TF size in the comics and toon? Well, they barely stand over Op. Other than that, yeah their pretty decent.
