Quick Question: Posting Toy Pictures
Just a quick one: can anyone point me out a link that explains how to include pictures in my posts? Wanted to post some pics but can't find an FAQ. Thanks!

You see that button that says Img above the textarea you use to post. click on it ad you get something like this:
Copy and paste the url to the image you want to include after that, and then click on the Img button again, it should then produce a closing tag like this [/img]
Your image should then look like this:
[img]http:\\www.server.com\path\to\image.jpg[/img]
If the image is available it should then display.
For more info you can also click on the BBcode link to the left of the text area and it will tell you all the tags and shortcuts you can use.
Of course you can also use the form under the text area, to upload the image if it resides on your hard drive.

First you'll need to host the images somewhere. Like photobucket.com for instance. Then you'll need to include the img tag around the address with the appropriate opening [] and closing [/] tags.
I hope that helps...and I'm not sure about size regulations.

Good explanation! Thanks!
Also if it is for your siganture, it can not be larger than 500 pixels wide and 300 pixels tall.
This post should also be in the "Ask the Experts Forum", but I'll leave it as a public service announcement.

Just a quick question: How do you post a picture on a forum? Everytime I do so it just says "404 not found."

That's odd, but it really depends on the board and the source. Some sites don't allow hot linking to images, but usually if they show up in a Google or Bing image search they should be useable. You can always preview the post to see if they work. Use the "img" tag at the top when posting and then post the image source address inside the two tags.
Alternatively you can just upload an image directly to Seibertron using the uploader under the post you're writing.
