Scenes (and dialogue) in the trailer but NOT the movie
I just saw the movie last night and I already thought of two things in the trailers that weren't in the final cut of the film. The scene that's in almost all of the new TV spots where Anthony Anderson says, "The killer robot is really distracting!" wasn't in the movie and the awesome dialogue of the Secretary of Defense saying, "We're up against a technological civilization far more advanced than our own, our enemy can take any shape, they could be anywhere." wasn't in the film. Notice anything that was cut?

Those two scenes scream "DVD Deleted Scene" to me, along with the situation where Maggie discovers Glen has a screensaver with her in a swimsuit on his computer, and where Lennox tries to get the shortwaves from the pawnshop owner.

Woah, never heard of those. Are you sure they were filmed or were they just in the original script?

They were in the book, which must mean they were in the script at some point. Whether or not they were filmed...I can't tell ya. If they were, they most likely will be DVD deleted scenes.

yeah the book was way better than the movie. i mean why did they have to delete some scenes and make the movie 2hours? why wasnt it 2hours and 30min.
