i know i've seen polls in the fantasy battles forum. and do you mean new posts being at the top of forums? cuz they are. well the last commented one get bumped to the top.

The mid-thread advertisements are very, very annoying and distracting. I hate to say it, but they really jolt me out of the discussions, and have even made me lose interest in the topic altogether. If these are absolutely, 100% necessary, at least make all of them something we may actually be interested in. Collector/toy oriented, perhaps. But I would rather see them gone entirely.

Can you add a "post colour" section to the User Control Panel? It'll brighten up the forum! I know it's nothing major, but I'm pretty happy with how things are now. Maybe support for more posts per page would be nice, but it's hardly that important.

Note - standard "pink" and "hotpink" are bad ideas for a standard pink colour option!

Dunno if I can't find it but it appears there is nowhere to introduce yourself to the forum community officially. That is to say without having the confidence to start a new thread somewhere. Perhaps we could have a thread in announcements dedicated to new and returning members so they can introduce themselves.
If its an announcement thread people will see it wherever they go first and theres no doubt that the current community will make all feel welcome. I bet theres a whole bunch of people lurking around here who would post if we just gave them a chance to introduce themselves.

Would it be possible to have a tiered dropdown menu for the forums? For example if I wanted to visit the repaint forums, I could highlight forums>highlight kitbash forums>have the subcategories appear>click repaints. I know i'm nitpicking here.

idk if this is the site or my computer, but whenever i click a link in the forums i get an annoying pause EVERY time... does this happen to anyone else?

If i use internet explorer 7, I get a pause where it appears everything is loaded but I am unalbe to navigate. I have no such issue with firefox, but have not tried any other browsers. Not an issue for me as i almost solely use firefox.

If you are also running ie7 you may give ie8 or one of the other browsers a try to see if it remedies the issue.

Google Chrome gives me the same results you described with firefox. I switched from Internet Explorer for the exact same reason torched112 described, not only on this site, but many others as well.
