It was made in the 80s, and it's a cartoon.
I wasn't even alive in the 80s, and cartoon movies of the 90s sucked ass. I didn't think a cartoon TF movie from the 80s could be any better.
But, WOW!!!!
I love all the 80s music (Weird Al) and I even changed my name to incorporate Rodimus (who would've thought that badass John Bender (Judd Nelson) could be a badass TF)
Anyway, I just gotta say that this movie is so sick.
I knew about Beast Wars when I was little and then the new movie made me into a real fan and I started watching G1 episodes.
I gotta say that I'm so glad I watched this movie.
It's just something I had to express. I'll probably watch it again before I go to sleep.

I was 16 when the movie hit the theatres, and I had been looking forward to it for months, since I was already a HUGE fangirl by this time. I had just scored my drivers license two weeks prior, so my friends piled into my 1974 Chevy Caprice Classic and went to see it. My best friend at the time cried her eyeballs out when Prime bit it. I ended up seeing that movie like 10 or 11 times in the theatre....Could not get enough! When it came out on video for the first time, I bought it. I watched it a few times and then moved, forgetting where I had ended up packing the damned thing...and did not find it til I got divorced 3 yrs ago....
...and it is just as good today as it was back then! I still cheer when Prime dies...I still weep when Megs gets reformatted (I HATE GALVATRON!).....you cannot beat that kind of movie when it gets you as a kid and keeps you as an adult! A true classic well worth owning!

Their corpses were placed into the Autobot Mausoleum (which eventually got blown up anyway).
