Star trek isn't as famous as star wars, so i guess hasro wouldn't make much profits from that.
kitbash anyone? :D
And yes, a transforming Warthog from halo would bring me a triple orgasm.
But i'd prefer Warthog as Hound.
This not badass. It's so BAD, it's ASS!

Star Trek not as famous as Star Wars? What universe do you live in?

Trekies are more common than Star Wars fans any day. Don't get me wrong I love Star Wars but there's a major difference here...

Star Wars consists of 6 movies of whitch several of its fans only like 4, 5, and 6, the first 3 movies to come out back in the 70's. There's a cartoon series "Clone Wars" that takes place between 2 and 3. I've heard talk of another series set to take place between 3 and 4 but not much about it recently. Star Wars allso has several comic books and games non of which are verry interesting at least not in my opinion. Mainly though when people hear Star Wars they think of the movies.

Star Trek on the other hand has 5 complete series. Each lasting about 7 seasons (with some exceptions) Star Trek allso has several movies out. They allready beat out the Star Wars movies before Captain Picard was ever introduced. I'm not sure exactly how many movies there are but I'm sure Sto_vo_cor could help me out with that information.

No matter where you turn you're bound to see a Trekie. I live in a preddy small town but there are at least 10 Trekies I know of here alone.

The only Star Wars fans I'm really aware of in town, half of them are allso Trekies. There's only like maybe 4.

Star Trek has the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.

What does Star Wars have? Thoughs six movies.

There's more to be associated with Star Trek than Star Wars, Star Trek has a biger fan basis.

Can someone explain something to me? W.T.F. is it with everyone spooging over Halo!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
In terms of storyline, yes, it is awesome. In terms of gameplay, it's lame. Half Life beats it over the head with a stick with their source engine, which I'm pretty sure if the Microlosers over at headquarters ever saw, their heads would explode, or they'd kill themselves in jealous over a good program that actually works and a better game than they've ever made.

Master Chief is not god. You are not cool for saying so.

This thread is about Star Trek.

Halo III was released, it's freakin over! Get over it!

This thread is about Star Trek, transformers, and the making of the toys involving those two things. Halo is not a part of it. Halo will never be part of it. If I wanted a thread about about Halo transformers, I WOULD HAVE MADE ONE. If you all want a thread about Halo transformers, GO MAKE A DIFFERENT ONE. This one is about -=[Star Trek]=- and -=[Transformers]=-. If it doesn't involve those things, it doesn't involve this thread, and I'm getting a little tired, purrsonally of course, of seeing people troll other unrelated threads with the whatever, Halo is better comment.

Now again, back to the topic at hand.

what bugs me about have star trek transformers, is that to get a decent saucer section of the enterprise, means( for the sake of ease) that we'll get a shell of semi-shell former!

Any of the enterprises would be difficult, kinda like any of the borg ships. Took this long to get Unicron done and look like a ball, can they make a solid cube?

The cartoon was just an animated version of TOS so I didn't count it as a seperite series. Pluse I'm not sure too many people are even aware it exsists. Just about anyone even if they're not Star Trek fans is at least aware of the live action series and movies.

BTW You wanna help me out here and fill in exactly how many movies there are. I think the first 10 were made with just Kirk or maybe 10 was the one with both Kirk and Picard. I'm really not sure how many movies were made pre-Generations and the only movie before that I really like anyway is the one with the whales.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home THS cast and the one with the whales that you mention

Star Trek V: The Final Frontier TOS cast original tital to this film was Star Trek V: "a love story" which made no sence at all

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country THS cast and the last to really feature them.

Star Trek VII: Generations TNG cast with guest stars from TOS and the death of KIRK.

Star Trek VIII: First Contact TNG cast with one guest star from Voyager

Oh Nemesis was 10, wow I was way off.

The next movie comming out is a prequill that's supose to be how Kirk and Spock meet or some sheet like that. I guess they're trying to make it as a filler between Pike and Kirk because Captain Pike is allso supose to appear in the movie.

The only bad part about all this is that non of the original cast will be in the movie. Pluse didn't they learn that Prequills are bad when Enterprise got canceled?

You know what I think should be done and I've been wanting this ever sence the Enterprise D was destroied, they need to make another series with Picard and crew abord the Enterprise E. It's kinda lame we only get to see that ship in the movies.

Allso they need to kill B4 and resurect Data.

Perhaps a present day Spock reflecting on his memories, to open and close the movie. It's not an uncommon narrative device.

I dont think it can reall be called a "pre-quil".I dont think that you have been following all the news coming out on this issue.

The script calls for some changes in established ST history and the out come of the story may change all history after TOS and ater before it.

And there is one TOS member that will be in the movie Nimoy will be playing his older self and Georage Take may also be repriseing his role or playing a different character.

Bill Shatner was turned down for a guest spot.

Thats not the worce of it.The script thats been leeked suggests that a time "Paradox" may come out of the new movie effectively changing all the ST history to come.

Meaning that all the stuff we know happened after TOS may not happen again.

We have been talking about it over in this thread.

Well Time Travel has changed TF history before.

Humans never encountered the Borg till TNG.

Then in First Contact they went back in time and some Borg got left behind and found durring Enterprise.

That Enterprise episode completly changes how the humans came into contact with the Borg in the first place and would make it so Q never had anything to do with it.

It would allso completly change how the Borg addapted to our technoligy sence the Borg were allso from the future and exsposed to us much earlier than orginally.

I'd bet that in the alternate universe created after the Borg were found in Enterprise the Technoligy Admiral Janeway brought back from the future at the end of Voyager was probly allready avalible to Captain Janeway in the new time stream.

Time Travel is verry confusing...

None the less it's still part of continuity as Spock is going to the past and mucking about with time. It will change everything that's happened in just every series after TOS and maybe ever durring, but I don't see how it'll effct any past events. (Enterprise)

When your dealing with time travel you can only screw up future events, you can't change the history of the 1960's by traveling to the 1970's.

It might be a version of Spock from an alternate future going back in time to set things right rather than altering history to change Star Trek canon forever. It doesn't have to invalidate all the other series. Doesn't change the fact that time travel sucks though.

Oh and in that Borg episode of Enterprise, didn't all the Borg get killed without being identified or contacting the Borg of the past? Therefore preserving the timeline. I was certain that was the case.

There's no reason to assume that any alternate universe was created by the events of Enterprise. In that episode there wasnt much contact between the Borg and the Humans so there's no reason to really believe that history would have been changed by the contact they did have.

There were other thing that should have caused some changes but I wont get into it.

You must open your mind to a larger degree.

Remember I did say it would cause a time Paradox.

In this case [as you put it] you can change the history of the 1960's by traveling to the 1970's.

Now if the evvents of the new movie change Kirk's history to the extent that the days of Picard may not happen at all.... then there will be no events of the movie "First Contact".

And if the events of the movie First Contact do not happen then the events of the Enterprise episode with the Borg wont happen ether.

Now bear in mind I'm not saying that all this will happen but if they mess with Kirks history all of this is possible.

All the scripts I have seen and the rummers that have been leaked center around a Romulan plot to send a person back in time to kill Kirk before he takes command of the Enterprise.

The idea is that the federation could not have rissin to its seat of power if it were not for Kirk.

Spock gets wind of this plot and travels back in time to stop the killer and ether inlists the help of his younger self of dies and mind melds with his younger self and then young Spock set out to save Kirk.

You are correct.

Star Wars Transformers sucked

Star Trek Transformers would suck

There is no way around it.
