Super 8 review! (SPOILERS)

Hey there!

I have just watched Super 8, a Summer Blockbuster that takes place in "The Good 'Ol Days" of Mankind and I wanted to share my thoughts on this very cool movie.

WARNING! SPOILER ALERTS!

The Good

A very fun and exciting movie, if you like booms and mystery, then you would love this. It is kind of like ROTF with an actual play to the whole scheme of things.

The old style to this is a definite attribute to this movie, it brings a retro aspect to a modern movie which I think other things need. For instance, would you like a TF Movie made with a Super 8 Camera? I know I would!

It brings Government Conspiracy to a whole new level that I haven't seen before, and I love it!

The Cliche-ness almost adds to the movie in the respect of, "Its old, but it is veeeeery new!!"

Can you say, MINI-MOVIE AT THE END!??!!??!

I was speculating until the very end, and that was a really fun aspect of this movie, you ponder what is going on, until a new scene comes and you are instantly thrown back into another spiral of ideas, this made me want more of it.

The Bad

The language is pretty bad in most of the scenes, even with a bunch of kids being the cursers, and it doesn't go as far as the F-Bomb in all but one place, and I think that was more of a joke than anything else.

I really wanted a thing that led to a sequel at the end, the Mini-Movie was fine, but I really wanted to see this thing in a new sequel.

The Government was the Instigator of the whole conflict, c'mon, do we have a bunch of idiots that would poke a giant alien three times their own size and torture it just for fun?

Overall

The movie is a great one that I would watch again if it was free.

If you liked Jaws and the first TF Movie, then you will love this film.

I would highly recommend this movie to watch it at the theater, for can't really get the full awesomeness of this movie if you get it for a 5" TV back at home.

Those are just my thoughts, you may take your own.

Loved the movie ... but it is not for everyone. If you love sci-fi movies then there;s a good chance that you'll love it.

This movie was fantastic! it was like E.T mixed with Stand by Me and the Goonies. I actually got a little  at the end, but that's coming from the guy that cried like a baby at the end of Toy Story 3 the first four times he saw it 8) . I got scared a few times too. The kid looked a little like Elijah Wood, and the other kid that was always blowing things up was hilarious. This was a very awesome movie.

Don't take anything I say seriously, because what I say may not necessarily be what I mean.
