So a little info first, Cindersaur was the last TF I bought as a kid way back in about '88/'89 - after that, nothing TF related was purchased for nigh on 12 years!

I still have that little guy, he's come to uni, sat on my desk in the design consultancy I worked at, and now is sat in front of the books I use for my lecturing job.

But I couldn't help thinking....his toy is a little cruddy. He's a dinosaur for gods sake! No way would he be standing his ground against Grimlock, so after a long time planning, I bring you Supreme Cindersaur!

After scoring a RID Predacon Megs on the bay (i've owned the Galvy version for years but I couldn't bring myself to use him) I set about doing some test runs etc, and here he is - I need to do a little more touching up here and there, but i'm so damn excited I thought I'd share him with you guys!

There are a few liberties, yes I know he doesn't originally have two heads, or wings per sé, but I think these additions just make him look more badass

Oh, and this is my second repaint ever so be kind please

But opinions would be lush

That's VERY cool. But if I may make a suggestion? Weathering effects. Aside a few paint apps, that'd make this SO much better. Maybe a headswap? Your choice of course, but my 2 cents!

I like the design! Only suggestion is that you break up the color scheme a little. (I know those Firecon's are pretty simple colored as well)

It's pretty cool. I never would have thought about megatron as Cindersaur. Certainly gives me ideas. Nice job.

I agree with the others, break up the colors. I say add some silver to the spike on the robot head and the claws on the beast mode. Silver seems to be the one color you are missing that the G1 had.

Looks like a nice smooth paint job. Request: please give us some decent pictures! Try taking the photos from lower down so it looks as if he's tall and we're standing in from of him.

Something that may improve the figure would be if you used a lighter version of that red to bring out some of the details on the red areas. Maybe also some gold or a different yellow for details on the yellow part. It's a detailed mold so you could do more with it without detracting or deviating from the current colour scheme.

Totally agree with all of your comments guys, this was just a work in progress and i've been working on the detailing, adding some silver apps, and adding a fair bit more texture.

And I do apologise about the photos, my camera is dead as a dodo, so I had to use my iphone - but good news! Ive nabbed a decent camera and i'll update you all in the next couple of days

Really nice work! Never would have thought of this mold for Cindersaur, but it works really well. Nice paint work as well, really smooth and light. Warning, TF customizing can be habit forming
