The hands are from a HG Gundam Wing model, and they actually transform properly. They rotate on little metal pins.
I'm gonna get around to tightening up the paint job. I might paint the gun black to make him even more G1-ish.
Just ignore that little bit of plastic crap in his fist. It's gone now.

1- Cut off Jazz's "hands" and the first knuckle and drill a little hole in it.
2- Cut off the ball joint attachment from the Gundam hand (the really little ones) and drill a little hole in it.
3- Trim a piece of wire that's a hair thicker than the holes that you drilled and cram it in between them as a pivot.
You'll need to do a bit of eyeballing to get the placement right, but other than that it's a simple job.
Go for it!
And thanks!

Interesting work there. Clever little adaptation that Hasbro should have done in the first place.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

Thanks guys. I'm glad that my cutting is good enough to distract some attention from my painting.
I'm glad you like it, but I don't know about 32432 times. Maybe after I get the paint straightened out.
They use the same parts for all of those models, so they're probably the same.
I'm flattered, but no. You can buy me lunch some time. (Batman reference)
By the way. What's this "<3" I'm seeing all around now?
