I have one. An Autobot insignia and tribal like flames on my right arm. I'm currently planning my next one.

I'm getting a piece of art that was drawn for me by a friend of mine before he died tattooed on my right shoulder blade.

Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

I am planning on getting a couple.
A portrait of Layne Staley(lead singer of Alice In Chains)
The man's music changed my life, I don't know if I would be here if it wasn't for him.
A portrait of Sting(Steve Borden/Pro Wrestler). He was a bigger part of my childhood and has always been a personal hero to me.
Cobra Logo, yes from GI JOE.
Jason Voorhees, my dad named me after him and Michael from Halloween. Not a huge fan of Michael, but the Friday the 13th series are some of my favorite movies.
anyway, I have a question.
If I have ecsema, is it safe for me to get a tattoo? I tend to break out if something new is introduced to my skin, but its not as bad as it used to be.
Any ideas?

I've been planning on getting one I drew myself for a while, but I've never got round to it because:
1) I always spend my money on other things.
2) I'm terribly absent minded and just forget.

Planning on having a mural of twisting, curving symbols and lines across my back and down my arms, but it's going to be a few years until I actually have what I want planned and have several other variables worked out.

I wouldnt get them personally. Got enough marks on me already i dont need to add to them. I do like them on other people though. I like to find out what they mean and why they got it done. Can be very interesting.

I got one for now....
Well, one for now....
Its something of a value to me since Iam a sword collector.
Its a anient arabian sword, with a snake wrapping itself on it, on my left soulder blade. For now I dont see a reason for another one, but maybe I will get a wolf howling at the moon, in the wilderness with Moon having a wolf face on it.

Did you have yours done professionally? Not to sound like an ass but they look pretty poor.

I have a full sleeve on my left arm. The top is all DC Comics characters, the bottom has a mermaid surrounded by waves, and a tribute to my dad with wine, cheese, and a sun. My lower left leg has a dragon on a pile of skulls looking over a village. The back of that leg also has a work in progress of a Boris Vallejo painting. I have an angry sun on my chest, and a tribal on my right arm. Whew!

I got mine in a very high profile and expensive place (they were bought for me as a present)-unfortuantly the artist has totally lost his edge, some days he is pretty good, but unfortunatly not on the day he tattooed me. Both me and my other half have tattos from him, and we are getting them redone by a totally different artist-
i love my tats because they were my first and it was a big deal to geet em-but i wish they were of a higher quality
p.s. they were originally ment to be coloured, but i wimped out and decided to just get the outline done

edit:that is also a crap pic, they arent the best, but they are better than they look there

They all hurt, don't let anybody tell you that they don't.
However, it is more annoying than painful. The work that I had done around my wrist wasn't that bad, but the work does stop about an inch and a half above my hand.

The work I have on my forearms stops about 2 inches from my wrist, and it didnt hurt much, but the closer you get to bone the more painfull it gets

I've been mulling it over. If I get one, it will be on my back, and I know it will be painful.
I want it to be of a design I create myself, if not drawn myself, at least worked with the guy.
Nice. Might as well go all out, huh? Which painting?

The back is probably one of the most painless areas, except near the ribcage, on the outer area of your back and side area. It got painful for me there, it didnt help that there was a lot of black being filled in.
Some of my unfinished work
Bad phone camera though, I need to take new ones
