Not sure why everyone's using the gallery thread to talk about Bludgeon's arrival, but mine arrived yesterday as well.

Re: TCC and TFSS 4.0 Thread - Mayhem Attack Squad, G.I. Joe, Armada
Got mine! Not amazing pics but I'm quite happy. I dislike Windsweeper/Sky Dive as a leg due to how narrow he looks and how uncovered the arms are. Not doing the "proper" configuration. I like Ruckus as an arm, but as with all the non-First Aid trucks the legs split so easily.
QC on the whole set is extremely good but Bludgeon is impeccable. He has the best thigh ratchets/joints of any Hot Spot variation, and I've owned them all. Thunder Mayhem doesn't slouch over! He stands straight up without needing to ratchet the thigh/hips back a notch! Holy smokes! And looks outstanding, of course. Other than a couple paint dings on the head, the Thunderwing head is nice. It's silly, but nice. Bludgeon's robot head is awesome.
So happy I subbed. This set is so much fun.

Roughly $370 shipped. Can anyone remind me what it was originally? I've got them all sitting in the cart....!
It hits all the right nostalgia notes for me, and I feel like a fool for missing out on it initially..

If you signed up for the subscription it was only slightly less than that. I think I ended up paying around $360 but the subscription also comes with Impactor and the bonus figure.

Thanks for the info kids!! So not terribly more expensive then, just minus the bonus of Impactor. Maybe just Needlenose, Spinister and Bludgeon..hmmm..ponder this, I will.

I guess it's a matter of interpretation. I see it as "more than $50 over the entire subscription (add shipping to both, of course), and I don't even get two figures." (Remember, not just Impactor, but the mystery figure as well).
I mean, I'm glad that folks who just want one or two have the opportunity, but as someone who wanted the entire combiner, I'm VERY glad I got the subscription pricing.

That combiner mode looks terrible but Spinister and Needlenose would've been cool for the sake of adding to my IDW collection. But the $70 before shipping only reminds me why I hated Funpub in the first place!
I'll just invest hope into Hasbro doing the right thing within the next couple years and release popular IDW characters at retail more efficiently.
As for Botcon/Funpub.....GOOD RIDDANCE!

It's unfortunately just what these types of exclusives cost to make. I believe that the eHobby Convobat is about $70 retail as well. And becomes almost $90 through importers.

Yup, but, they've just gotta make it past that limit of making you need it. As for these, I think the only logical thing would be to massively step up production, lower the costs, and them reap the increased profit from selling to everyone, therefore making everyone happy

Convobat is $50 plus tax direct from e-Hobby. The subscription figures probably sell far lower numbers thanks to the additional cost of membership, but somehow I doubt they'd lower the price even if they were pushing the same number of figures as e-Hobby.

Woah woah woah when is he supposed to be in? I'm moving to Florida on Wednesday and I didn't have a chance to change my shipping address because I've been so busy. I assumed there would be a reminder email.

The reminder emails are for the three payment installments. The third one has already come to pass for Bludgeon and Impactor. The individual figures themselves don't get emails alerting their shipping, as their arrivals are each supposed to be a surprise.steals_your_goats wrote:Woah woah woah when is he supposed to be in? Your best bet right now is, unfortunately, to hope and pray that it comes to you before Wednesday.

Or set up a forwarding address with USPS, which you should be doing anyways if you are moving.

Fellow Seibertronians, courtesy of the Transformers Club, we get a slew of images of the upcoming Impactor figure, a recolor of Combiner Wars Rook, but with a new Club exclusive head. Included with him, as per his characters affinity with weaponry ant tools, are Generations Arcee's four weapons, all of which are shown off below being equipped to him in many numerous and inventive ways. So check out the images and let us know what you think of him in the comments below.
