I'm kinda surprised I didn't really read this whole thing through. I like this kid. He got brains.
Am I babbling again?

I'd say this is the only board I've been to (TF related...) that's truly fair and balanced.
No one side is more important or pushed upon people, than the other.
Openmindedness, generally kind people, etc.

I can't believe I went so long without being able to enjoy this. So you may get people invading your world, but some of us are the good guys.

On TFW2005, the worst is redsquadron.
On Allspark, it's Andrusi.
TFAns is just plain run by a mental patient and I'd stay away from it from an 11 foot pole ready to prod it away.
If you think the scalpers are bad with the Bumblebees, wait till they get their hands on that Wal-Mart exclusive, American Starscream. There is probably going to be a huge market for him, especially outside of the U.S, and his price will be astronomical on E-bay. The store shelves will be dry as a bone.Sid Burn wrote:Moonbase2 wrote:Anyway, I started to really enjoy the cartoons. I was like a sponge, soaking in everything. No argument there, I am all for new fans of the TF fiction, this is by no means 'my world' any more than it is yours. I am thrilled to know people are using the movie as a springboard to the entire TF universe. There really is something for almost everyone.
I really am disturbed by the increase in the scalpers market for TF though, seems like the movie has doubled or even tripled this phenomenon. Worst case of this is 08 BB who as a new toy, should not be garnering $40 on ebay.
Of course, in a month, you wont be able to go to any big store without tripping over 08 BB but the scalpers are making a fortune online right now listing them as rare and hard to find.
A shame that with the good attention comes the bad. The idea that some ebay jagoff is waiting at 10 am at the doors of a wal mart so he can buy up every BB or Arcee or whatever only to sell them back to fans at a ridiculous markup is incredibly aggravating

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Spark Light wrote:Interestingly a thread I made in the movie forum disappeared without a trace.
I really disapprove of this practice. It's childish, if a thread gets out of hand then a mod should come in and try to calm things down. If all else fails, it should be locked, to serve as an example.
A thread should NEVER be deleted unless there are a lot of posts with very sensitive information in them.
It reeks of cover-up and leads me to believe that someone here mustn't be terribly good at their job.
For this, Seibertron mods, you get a massive fail for tackling this "Bitchfest" in the worst way possible.

Until you run a board of your own, please don't tell them how to do it. It's rude.

1. No flaming, trolling, harassing, or baiting other guests.
Flaming should be self evident, trolling means to make posts or threads for the intended purpose of starting an argument, while baiting is any post intended to make another user resort to flaming. Harassment means following a user or group of users around through multiple threads to flame them, bait them, or otherwise cause them to want to avoid the boards because of a user's actions towards them. If there is a discussion and there ends up some sort of disagreement on someone's personal opinion, simply try and respect each others opinions without forcing them on others.

It was moved to another area.
And why was your thread moved? well let's see after looking through it (which we can do)...
After reading it AGAIN, The first thing I see you doing is breaking this rule (the bolded part).1.
Your initial post was rather arrogant and set quite of people apart, (I had quite a few PM complaints about it and another mod ended up moving it while I was away) and the way you try to tell mods how to do their job around here is not needed. We do the best that we can to keep the peace around here. We can't just shut every thread down because opinions clash, we have to let some discussion take place. Now when the discussions get out of hand that is when we step in and do what is needed. Opinions are welcome but slamming others is not.
Respect is the key.
If we start locking threads and telling everyone not to express themselves then we get accused of becoming a "gestapo".
The staff does excellent work around here so cut them some slack.
The Rules wrote:7. Do not make duplicate threads.
When you want to make a new thread, do a quick search using the 'search' button at the top of the page (if it is functioning). When searching for any given term, make sure to click on 'search for all terms', or you will get pages of unrelated posts. If there is already a thread on that subject, post to it instead of making a new thread. If multiple threads on the same subject are discovered, the odds are that one of them will be locked. If your post is locked please do not make duplicate threads of the same subject as it was locked for a reason.

Maybe try and relax a little. Im pretty sure we all just want to talk about transformers, not debate a highly unlikely moderator sponsored cover up of whatever you were saying that got people riled up enough to pm the site admin.
