Motto: "Individual freedom above all else."
Not including Grimlock in the films in one shape or another. biggest mistake anyone can make in any TF series. Bay said he didn't like the Dinobots, and that's fine. But couldn't he have Grimlock in there insome other form? He is a pretty major character. I mean, if Shockwave made it in, Grimlock should have. Glaring f**k-up on both Bay's and Kruger's part.

And where is your proof? This makes absolutely no sense as Pontiac was a subtary of GM and considering they had no problems with Hummer, Chevy, and GMC being involved in a war movie, i don't see why they would decide any different for Pontiac. That, and if they were so concerned with it, they never would have had the Pontiac Brand involved in the movie in the first place.

Look, I just heard that after the first movie was released.

That actually sounds more like the reason Volkswagon won't allow Hasbro to use their cars for a Bumblebee figure awhile back. They're a German company and their country is heavily into censorship of violence after all.

What!? I thought Germans where the most violent race of people! (Besides Russians) Damn, this is honestly shocking to me. I need a nap.

I thought all Germans killed people. I guess I was wrong.

i heard bay drinks the blood of virgins, so that must be true too right.

And come on, you are threading that fine line between genius and idiocy. I am assuming half your posts are tongue in cheek wumming :-)

Oh, man that's hilarious, Sly. Great stuff. I just HAD to quote it. I hope Dead Metal see it; I'm sure he'll get a kick out of it.

Biggest mistake?

Hmmm, that's a tough one. I've typed a bunch of things, but I keep deleting them because they're really not Bay's fault (ROTF being rushed out, Devastator's design). Let me mull this one over...

Wasn't Jazz' death more or less a way to establish Megatrons overall badassery? Almost mindlessly ripping apart a second-in-command sends a clear message.

Yes. Most, if not all of that character is pointless.

Though I did approve of dad, he struck me as very 'Buster-y'.

Judging by this kids previous posts on here, i doubt it. But either way it doesn't matter. You don't joke like that.

As far as Grimlock, i wouldn't have mided seeming him as a gaint front end loader or dump truck. Something big, bulky and lumbering!

I've always pictured a Non-Dino Grimlock (and by extension, the other Dinobots) as a military vehicle of some kind. Something that's big, bulky, and armed to the teeth (no pun intended).

The movies probably would have turned out better if someone else was directing, but i'm not going to complain to much. I tend to turn off that part of my brain whan watching any movie that involves explosions and fighting.

I generally liked the parents, but, yeah, clearly written for a crowd that does not understand how pot works.

My list, in order of thought and not importance:

1) Bumblee lubricating on humans
2) Wheelie...pretty much in general, but especially the leg humping
3) Most of the Twins characters: For some reason, I could never get past the gold tooth....
4) Leo Spitz
5) Jetfire's rants about aging and his father being a wheel
6) All underwear shots of Simmons
7) Bumblebee's voice. (This is a hard one...I kind of like the way it plays out, I just don't find it plausible. If he can instantly find music to express his mood why don't they program some words into him, Hawking-style, to allow him to communicate? Before anyone jumps, I *know* why they did it like this, but in-fiction it doesn't add up to me.)

I won't put this on my "big mistake" list, but I really wish they had gone Soundwave and not Dr. Claw.

Overall, however, I really enjoyed the movies...when I took them for what they were and stopped being obsessed about continuity and details (which is not easy for me).

And they certainly brought new fans in; some of which really enjoyed every item on my list. I would change these things if they made an F Prime Special Edition, but found them very easy to ignore in-theater (and easy to FFWD through on DVD.)

You want to know what Bay's biggest mistake was? Listening to freaking society and the fudge bags who define a "good" movie. I hate that term. "Good movie" WTF is a good movie? Damn society planting their BS images and definitions into people's minds and they don't even realize they're being brainwashed. Who cares if you don't find the movies "good"? I guarantee you there's someone out there who thinks differently.

I would have a lot more respect for Bay if he would had just made the movies the way he wanted I know he's trying to listen to the fans and the people who actually go to see the movies, but it's just tearing everything apart. DOTM will be too short and he cut out the twins (Who of which I liked), and toned down the explosions. What about the 77% of people who liked the first movies? Where's their satisfaction?

It's even part of the SNES inspector gadget video game as thats exactly what Dr Claw looks like in the final battle.

Weapon: Gattling Gun
... was being a part of them and everything else that happened as a result of his involvement.

This might be slightly off topic but still somewhat relevant. In the movie, some robots are depicted as being smarter than others which leads me to ask, are they robots that are sentient or are they sentient beings that happen to occupy a robot body?
