Apollyon's face is silver, like the rest of his body. Megatron has more of a white/silver face though, and I think MP5 has a pearl white/silver face..so I need to color match that mess!

And add light piping to his eyes. Somehow. Or not.

Also, dang it Cary, you posted the thing about the battle mask and that place has MOST of the coins. All of the ones I don't have at least. So now I want them. And the anti-hypnosis device. Not so much the shoulder cannon though..

Huh, the CW leader Meg's face is the same color as the rest of him. To me that's how Megatron looks. I'd leave it silver.

Light piping eh? I'm assuming his eyes can be removed? What option would you have other than pouring molten acrylic in there?

BBTS has/had a bunch of cheap coins. They can be found for pretty cheap here and there. Fortunately that's a bug that hasn't bitten me yet.

I felt Prowl looked kinda lacking with just those little flashlights on his shoulders. He looks like a proper bad ass now.

Nope, eyes can't be removed so yep, molten acrylic it is

I've got the itch. To customize the stuff and things. Maybe it'll lessen me wanting to buy stuff. I've also got to figure out something to do for TR Galvatron when I get him, other than the CW Galvatronus head..

I'll have to check the BBTS for the coinage.

Also for Prowl, I have his shoulder things tucked away. Like they should be.

Alright. That's a decent price. From the Jungle or Mandrake it would probably be very similar for the Takara Bee. But importing, the conversion fee can't be that bad. I do it all the time and don't even notice

I feel 100% safe in recommending HLJ for your Transformer import needs. Over the years I've probably spent a good $2000 there, and never had cause to worry.

Yes. All of the things to customize. And not just stickers from ReproLabels (although that helps but costs moneys). I think I need to paint all the wheels on the things. I miss wheels that look like wheels on the Hasbro figures.

My customizing desk is baby girl's folding Frozen table, with matching tiny folding chairs.

Care, your an old paint sprayer guy, how much of a pain in the arse is dealing with oil based ennamels in a air brush? You know cleaning and maintenance?

Cram, I do recommend AmiAmi as well. I have never accrued any fees. Especially conversion fees. I use my debit/Visa card. Don't know if that has any barring on conversion.

But honestly the golden era of importing may be over for me, as the yen and dollar have nearly leveled out. WHHHHYYYYYY?

Some cards/banks waive fees. Pretty sure mine don't. Lame.

Yup, you.

Clean up with thinner, a breeze. You can just run thinner behind the paint or just take the brush apart and drop them in a can of thinner. Super low pressure stuff we're talking about here. If you dip into hot solvents, you'll need to be aware of any black rubber seals/o rings. Hot solvent makes those swell and fall apart. You'd have to replace with teflon rings/seals.

A small air brush is on the customizer shopping list for me.

So I guess enamels are fine to be applied to TFs? I'd be afraid some hotter thinners would wither melt the plastic or wrinkle the factory paint. Depends in the thinner I guess.

TF-Direct says they are Chinese with Customer Service based in Canada and I had no fees/issues with them. Just a delay in the product shipping and tracking not working for a few weeks at a time..which I hate..

I haven't had any problems with Krylon, Rustoleum, or Testers as far as plastic corrosion or factory paint wrinkles. And I've never met an acrylic that could withstand the riggers of being handled or transformed.

Yeah my trans with tf-direct was great, it did take a while to show up, but that's to be expected. That one place can suck it though.

I needed some good faction symbols for Bluestreak so I just placed my first ever Repro order!
Got some other goodies too. Very excited! Do they show up pretty quickly, since their Canoodlian?

Cram, I've bought from Amiami, HLJ, Biginjapan, HobbyJungle, Mandrake, and more. I haven't had a single bad experience with any of them. In fact, the only bad experiences I've had were with one overseas store (don't remember the name, and it was only once), and the other was TFsource (seriously, screw TFsource).

You just need to pop your cherry. Choose one of those first three I listed and just buy one figure akin to a Deluxe. Let it breathe, swish it around, see how you like it
