Zuko wrote:Looks interesting but I'll never go see it. After Batman and Robin I vowed to never give Joel Schumacher any more of my money ever.
High Command wrote:Jim Carrey's best work was Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Anyone insisting otherwise is clearly insane.
Predaprince wrote:Seriously guys, even I had my doubts going in and I am a movie-goer who is very very hard to surprise or shock (in a good way), but this movie isn't like Da Vinci Code and I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know (since it was causing me displeasure in not knowing for once) how it would end.
Anyone with doubts about this movie will be greatly surprised and enjoyed, but if you still choose not to go see it then it is your loss and oh well.
i TOTALLY second that statementHigh Command wrote:Jim Carrey's best work was Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Anyone insisting otherwise is clearly insane.

A Ventura did rock though.

I agree.

I agree.
I find this to be the funniest quoted/statement ever. Apparently, according to FOK's theory High Command you could be starring in 23 and not even know it.

look at their post counts. there are three posters using the name "high command" (though i'm still not entirely sure how they can all have the same name) - the original high command, shin, and mad asshatter. and as their sigs state, all three are currently banned for an indeterminate amount of time because of it. if i recall each one's post counts correctly, that's actually asshatter quoting shin.
still, i do agree that seeing "high command" agree with "high command" is quite funny.

Despite also my belief by the statement of 2/3 = # of the Beast, that was only a detrimental statement by a psychiatrist to Carrey's character. This movie does not have the Devil or any "End of Days" kind of things in it, so it isn't as your wife fears Tigertracks 24.
Faceful of Kitchen wrote:you know, the more i think about it, the more i realize how hilarious it'll be if it turns out i spoiled the ending to this movie by describing how lame and predictable it looks. if i did, i'll be happy to add spoiler tags to my previous post, along with the mandatory laughing smilies.
