Wisconsin is supposed to have a pretty solid team this year.

But I know this is the NFL thread. So's yeah... Patriots looked pretty sharp last night. Carolina, unfortunately, not. Still preseason though, so a win or a loss still counts the same!

Favre is going to spend so much time on his ass this year you'd think he was Archie Bunker...that's what happens when you have zero running game, a lame offensive line, and everyon blitzes you all the time; this will be especially true if Donald Driver is out for any length of time.

Romo is overrated, I think. I'd wager that he will have a major case of the sophomore jinx this year as the league adapts to him and completes his scouting report.

Well, after a shaky start the Steelers are looking pretty good. So many little mistakes though. And it is still so weird not seeing Cowher and his chin on the sidelines.

I have to agree there. I watched the game and , though i am a lifelong Bears fan, I've always had a soft spot for the Steelers having grown up watching Franco Harris, Terry Bradshaw, Lynn Swann, and that great Steel Curtain defense. And Bill Cowher in particular was a great coach...i couldn't help feeling joy for the guy when they won the big one a couple years ago. I'm am VERY concerned, however, with Pittsburgh's lack of a consistent running game, but the "D" really made Philly look bad.

Speaking of looking bad, hey Niners fans...great first half yesterday! Our first-stringers beat the crap out of your first-stringers. On a serious note, the Bears looked EXTREMELY solid. If you take away a fumble on a punt that SF recovered, the Bears played a practically flawless first half as a team. Grossman still can't hang on to a snap for some reason...but when he does, he seems to be making better,more consistant choices. I have to say that- right now- the Bears still look like the odds-on favorite to win the NFC, just not as convincingly as last year.

I wouldn't put oo much stock into pre-season. Look at the Colts pre-season record from the last few years. Last year alone they had a crappy pre-season and went on to win the Superbowl. Carolina went 4-0 in the pre-season and missed the playoffs.

Not to say the Browns won't have a good season, or any of our teams, but you should put all your hopes on a good pre-season game.

Alright now that pre-season is over how do you think your team will do? It may still be early for that kind of prediction but what they hay.

The Bucs played pretty well on the offesive side of the ball last night. There were a couple of screw ups, like McCown's fumble that lead to a TD, but I think they recovered nicely scoring 24 points in the first half.

How that will hold up next week against Seattle is anyones guess tho.

Haven't had the chance to catch up with the other games from last night yet but i will later today.

Vikings are a solid 3rd place team this year. I'm hoping Green Bay, of course, will be anchoring the NFC North.
