To true. Ever since I moved to Galexy 5 I haven't been atacked, but it's slim pickings for pirates out here.
So, I'm set up to pump out %$#& loads of deuterium and I'm only shuttling things in system and between Olympus and Port Royal.

Got them both - just not made them yet as I'm fending off attacks daily now and I'm constantly shifting my res and in dire need - spending it on any old thing rather than lose it.

BTW - kept the Uni37 base going and I'll have a full compliment of IPMs on demand hopefully by friday. I can fire them off and there's nothing there for anyone to attack/raid!

Plasma tech should be done soon. Uni 33 got hit. But I won, so rebuilding will take the best part of an hour (just a few ion cannons and a gauss cannon).

I have just built a few light transports and want to begin farming some people lower in the rankings than me.

How do I do this? Also how can I figure out if my raid will be some what successful?

I have just built a few light transports and want to begin farming some people lower in the rankings than me.

How do I do this? Also how can I figure out if my raid will be some what successful?

First you'll want to build some epsionage probes, and preferably work up your espionage tech level to around level 5.

Next, click on the statistics page. Let's say you have 1000 points. Newb protection protects anyone with less than 20% of your points, so the weakest person you can attack will have 200 points. Search through the rankings till you find the page with people who have around 200 points.

Next, make sure you used tabbed browsing as this is much easier with tabs.

Got tabs? Ok. Next, middle click on the "message" button on every single person from 200 points upwards. Yeah, all of them. Once you've got about 15-20 tabs done, start looking through them for people with co-ords close to you. You don't want to go too far away to avoid deuterium costs, and time costs. Close off all the tabs for people who don't fit the bill.

On each of the remaining tabs, quickly memorize the co-ords then click on the Galaxy button. Remember those co-ords? Tap them in then fire off an espionage probe at your target. While that flies off, do the same with tab #2, then #3 etc till you run out of probes.

In a minute or two you'll have your esprep. Read your esprep. Is it a profitable target? If so, attack. If not, go to the next esprep.

Rinse, repeat.

Now for my uni 37 update.

Unexpectedly long days at work mean I haven't hyad much or any time for being online, rendering my fleetsaves ineffective. Ineffective fleetsaves lead to being attack by Tuff (2:175:8), the #1 ranked player in the game. He has 225 battlecruisers.

The crystal shipment is almost at my homeworld in uni 20 and 33. That'll finish plasma tech (pretty damn pricey )

Does raising your Ion Technology past level 5 improve your Ion Turrets?

Ion Tech is pretty cheap to research still, and I've got a lot of those turrets.

Off hand I'm guessing not; I reckonz the weapons tech is more likely the feeder stat for weapons strength.

I did email madscientist in uni 37 about it, but did not receive a response. So from time to time if you could just check the coords 5:52:12 to make sure my planets have not been destroyed I would be thankful. If they are, just post the bad news here.

Just got out of Noob protection last night and got a nice welcome to the game when I woke up this morning.

All of my planets were probed by Hermoid of the Asgard alliance, fun.

One planet got attacked by brunek rank 122, attacked with 600 Bombers. Crashed my 30 Solar sats. At least he only got away with about 50000 res.

Time to rebuild defenses.

Also getting probed by the Republic Alliance as well. They are getting people that are still Noob protected to probe me though.
