So I realized something I thought was cool the other day. Problem was, it wasn't concerning a Has/Tak product, but a 3rd party item! I thought about posting it in the main "That You Never Realized" thread on the Toys forum, but decided against it. I do like to try and play by the rules when I can, and like it or not 3rd party items on this website have been banished to this one little corner.

And so... I thought I'd start a new thread, giving these things a home of their own!

Anyway, onto the thing I just realized...

So I was transforming my Classics Rodimus the other day... I use Fansproject's Protector armor with him. Now, I have a Hasbro Rodimus, and thus use the non-chromed spoiler pieces for the robot mode. But I like the look of the chromed spoiler on his vehicle mode.

In the past, this left me with two extra pieces whenever I made him into a vehicle, that would just be lying around with no place to go. (I didn't have the same problem with robot mode. I just left the complete chromed spoiler attached to the tank/gun thing.) It would always bug me a bit, I wished I had someplace to put them.

But as I was transforming him a day ago, a thought occurred to me. There is some empty space inside of his back end. Not a lot... but I wonder, might it be enough?

I slid a spoiler piece in on one side... It fit! Thus, so did the other on the other side. The two pieces fit in just right, were snug enough that they wouldn't fall out of the bottom, and the top closed over them with no problem.



Anyone else have any 3rd party revelations? I'd love for you to share!

So I have Maketoy's SG Magnus set. And I put the armor on a combat hero prime which looks good and I just put the rest of the stuff in a box, Little did I know I can display the tanker part with my SG Magnus in alt mode without the add-on armor and it looks great! Two displays for the price of one. This set is very underrated!

Since I don't like to apply the swords for him to use, the scabbards can be good use of waist cannons.
