Edit: Final results a few posts below!
I have Generations Kup and the Upgrade head kit from I gear. The Cy-Gar head is used on the Gen mold and I have a spare head because the kit had two heads.
My question is, will that I-Gead head perfectly fit the TF Prime mold or should I hexpect some heavy modding?

Re: Does the I-Gear Kup heap fit on TF Prime S.Kup?

You would need to do some moding to accomplish your task. The iGear head can split apart to be fastened and reconnected on a ball joint on the Generations mold. The head on TF Prime Kup is molded to the shaft of a ball joint that plugs into the body.
So, the easy way to replace the TF Prime head is to find another head that has a ball joint sticking out of the neck.

What I understand is I-Gear and Gen Kup heads are female and the Prime head is male.
Bummer...
It will be hard because so far, I never see a male head that have a ball joint as his... ahem... member. Only swivels.
I'll look into what can be done and I'll post pics.

All right then, I've done the deed and here we are. Kup's and Ironhide's weapons are predictably interchanged and Kup is mistransformed enough to make him very appart from Ironhide.

But what's this, you ask? How come de dont have the right head? Simply because Kup's head was exactly the same as Ironhide's so it had to go. Luckily, I had a spare I-Gear hear for Generation Kup on hand. I had to mod it heavily because the way that head plug inside it's intended body is completely different from the Prime mold. I also had to trim down some part to fit the transformation. I still have the original head and I could swap it right back to make the toy exactly as it was.

Well, there you have it. Sure, it's just a head and weapon swap, plus some mistransformation, but it get the job done superbly. To close this post, have a shot with the Generations version, with a I-Gear head of his own.
