Dude, why did Toonami change Tom again??? And know he looks like one of those crappy CGI characters for toddlers!

Since 2003, he got that kick-a$$ upgrade form and now they made him look the worse that he ever has!

you'll see him for 15 seconds for every 15 minutes of television I think you can handle it.

I was actually wondering the same thing. He went from a badass looking robot to a floating teletubby.

Ah well. Hellboy: Blood and Iron was awesome so I can live with it.

Fifteen seconds of crap instead of Fifteen seconds of awesomeness does make a difference.

I wouldn't even know what toonami looks like anymore. I have watched it or adult swim in over 3 yrs.

Just be glad you don't have to put up with the pure unadulterated crap that is Toonami UK with its amazing array of crap live action programs and the new scooby doo. Speaking of Scooby doo, it always seems like they can't go more than 2-3 weeks without doing a scooby doo marathon.

Its a shame they have to kill us with useless crap and ruin good things.

I think he was referring to the fact that all of the Scooby-Doos (old and new) are on Boomerang in the U.S.

The only time I watched Boomerang was to watch the Animated Batman/Superman, JL/JLU, Superfriends (and all the names it goes by). Now, I have all of the Batman DVDs and I'll be complete on 3/20 with my Batman Beyond and JL/JLU DVDs that I only look to see if it is an old Superfriends episode on each night or if it is one of the Kick-arse Galactic Guardians titled ones with Darkseid.

I know that changing Tom isn't as big as the shows on Toonami, but it has gotten to the point that I only watch Naruto and the special movies (none of these new shows to Toonami, besides Naruto, get me into them). It is getting to the point where I might just have to start buying Naruto DVDs and call quits on Toonami all together.

I was waiting for Adult Swim to start and low and behold I see the new kid friendly Tom... I vomited in my mouth.

Oh well, further proof kids entertain is circling the drain.

Well CN killed the last cool original thing.

dosn't matter to me. i stoped watching toonami ever since they made it all anime and canceled megas xlr

Was it CNX or Toonami that had the awesome bumper that was around 5 minutes long of show clips put to some top notch music?

No it's further proof that the execs in CN need to rethink their opinion on how to grasp kids. I remember Toonamis hayday when it was a nice mix of anime and western stuff Like Thundercats, Centurions, Batman and Superman,New adventures of Jonny Quest, DBZ Namek Saga, Volton, Reboot, Robotech and so on. Even in when Tom 2 and 3 came around they were relatively ok, we had teen Titans, JLU, Megas, Samurai Jack and so ok stuff. Now we begin to see the decline as CN thinks it can capitalize on crappy anime or anime that has been modified to hell by standards and it slowly turns from a series that was teen/adult based to a more kiddie based.
While i kinda tuned out once they got into Outlaw Star and Tenchi Muyo i still respected it as a series for teens, now look at it it's pretty much basing it's entire existance on Naruto and maybe One Piece, WTH CN WTH.

I totally agree except they are relying on Naruto and since 4Kids has dropped One Piece as a title, the shows that were on the net, Prince of Tennis and MAR, are being used to pick up the inevitable slack that will start to build up after they run out of OP episodes.

Personally I like some anime series but considering most cartoons made now of days are heavily influenced by anime, so much so they are becoming one and the same stylistically speaking. So it doesn't matter what new shows Toonami buys, they'll all either be anime or look just like anime.

Like I said I don't mind some anime but the new look of cartoons really makes me sick.

Saw the change yesterday when Blood and Iron was on. While the CG is damned good. Why the hell did he go from complete badass to...that. Did they even include some story as to why he changed, like they did with every other Tom incarnation?

Anyway, yeah Toonami sucks now. Naruto is the worst dubbed anime I've ever had the misfortune to watch. Anyone who likes the dubbed Naruto, go get the subtitled version. It is infinitly better.

I really don't get CN's show strategy sometimes. They replace badass shows like Megas, and JLU, with a show about a kid playing Tennis. It really does boggle the mind.

As for the whole anime bit. I've said it a ton, and I'll say it again. For every 1 good anime, there are 30 bad ones.

Well I dunno whether to watch toonami anymore, TOM's change did it for me, besides Assy Mcgee, what a stupid idea for an talking Ass carrying gun, whom ever is in charge of Cartoon Network is an idiot, or a desperate person without better how or ideas for putting it at night or aytime anyway. Who else grees with me?. I am sure that plenty of people would love to see the whole old series of Transformers back on cartoon network.Or perhaps more of Japanese Manga or etc.

Cartoon Network and Adult Swim are run by two different companies so Assy Mcgee is AS's fault and the new Tom is CN's fault.

Also AS is notorious for their idiotic comedy series and their hate of anime.

Yeah, when Adult Swim run something completely stupid, they do it out of angst of the thing. When Toonami does it, it is because they have lost all touch of the type of excellent shows that they had before now.

What I think we need to remember is that when Toonami came out, in the US at least, it was the whole thing. It was on afternoons til dusk everyday on CN with shows that rocked in every genre. Then, it started getting some younger and older shows and broke the more mature shows off and Adult Swim was created for the later hours and now, instead of it being Toonami, there is Miguzi (SP???) on weekday afternoons. It started as the whole thing and was rocking us and then it just gradually got smaller and smaller to where it is now only Toonami during 7 - 11 pm Saturday night. And now the execs have finally given up and mostly likely changed Tom like they did to make us give up on it.
