Does anyone know anything about the movie that was previewed with the TF movie that didnt have a name? It was the one where they showed some guys going away party then there was a sound and they went outside and saw a big explosion and the statue of libertys head flew by? It looked pretty good but I cant find anything on the internet about it.

PS. All cartoon/comicbook/video game to mavie adaptations should model transformers the movie, they were the first that I felt like actually stayed true to the cartoon while still blending it with contemporary film elements to make a great movie.

My best guess it was the Evangelion movie.

The part about the guy in the trailer being thrown a going-away-to-Japan party was kinda a dead giveaway that this is going to be some kind of anime-themed monster movie.

Its supposed to be a remake of the Attack of the 50 foot woman classic. Its by the Lost creators.

so far the movie is called "cloverfield" not much is known about it yet

Everyone else in the theater thought they must have blocked out for a minute and thought it was part of the TF movie. My dad even asked me.
