We have yet to end 2025 and we already have 2026 toys on shelves. The fourth wave of Age of the Prime deluxes has been found at Walmarts in Canada this past week. Online American retailers are also shipping them out though they have not appeared in stores yet. This wave includes Quickstrike, Jalopy, Blastoff, Quintus Prime and Sureshot.

Below are video reviews of these toys if you want to know more, which may be important as fans are budgeting to only buy what they really like now that prices for deluxes have arisen to $27.99 USD.

Sureshot is a way better figure than I gave it credit for. Colours are pretty loud, awesome and correct, shape is right, Sunbow G1 look /check, etc. Of course the targetmaster is a bit weak, but not horrible at all. Also easily upgraded if one wants. I am gonna say; Sureshot is the best pure Targetmaster figure yet. All the Decepticons are unnecessarily Headmasters, Crosshairs is ok, but a repaint/mould, Pointblank... is best left blank.

Went into my local Target today looking for Vortex, and while they didn’t have him, I did manage to get Blast-Off directly off of the pallet. They also had Quintus, but Pulse already has him en route.

How much was your walmart charging for deluxes

I believe Walmarts in the area are doing the new increased prices, but I don’t frequent them that often so I’m not positive. Today at Target was still $24.99, which made me a very happy boy.

More new reveals with Animated Ratchet on the Trailbreaker mold and after all this time a return of Prime characters with what I think is a good looking Smokescreen. I sure this will probably get a Beast Hunters blue repaint for Amazon or a Target 4 pack at some point.

Also two more G1 guys.

Powerglide! Finally!

And an Ultra Mammoth is given out of that Big Convoy, right?

Thanks to several Weibo posts we have looks at the new Transformers Generations Age Of The Primes revealed at an offline event in China. Those include the following deluxe toys:

• Powerglide― G1

• Swerve ― G1

• Smokescreen ― TF Prime

• Ratchet - Animated

Ratchet is particularly interesting as he is a retool of the Earthrise Trailbreaker/Hoist mold and comes with multiple tools homaging the original Animated toy. These are slated for 2026 late spring/summer.

What's with the different color shades for Powerglide? Variant color releases or hand painted prototype?

Absolutely! One can never have enough transforming mammoths.

Upon further inspection, that Powerglide plane mode is a bit small and short. I know he was a Minibot, but maybe he should've been a voyager for a more proportional plane mode?

Also I'm impressed with that Ratchet. He's a deluxe, but that TB/Hoist mold is a big deluxe.

Love powerglide's robot mode and happy to add him to my collection. A little nitpicky but the hands are pretty obvious when looking at the alt mode from the side but that's my only gripe

Anyone think Prime Smokescreen will be retooled into knock out? Or Bumblebee maybe? I'd love a Prime universe Bumblebee figure

I didn't realize until now that the wave breakdown put the Prime Cliffjumper repack (which I will be getting since I wasn't going to grab a whole 4-pack for just him) in the same wave as these other 4 specific Deluxes, does make we wonder which 2 of these are gonna be shortpacked, but also why is this whole Deluxe wave red/white-and-red Autobots

Ratchet wears that mold better than the guys it was made for, imo, and he even looks to have all the tools from his original figure! Definite purchase, Siege Ratchet is getting demoted to I guess an unnamed medical extra now.

No interest in Powerglide from me, but I'd gladly snag a Viper repaint (don't care enough about Bad Boy to buy him solo, but if they put him in an appealing multipack I'd consider it).

Surprised by how much retooling Swerve got, I was expecting just the head and chest but I like the big faux shoulder wheels. Shame they couldn't/didn't give him My First Blaster (I know it wouldn't have been G1 accurate, don't care). Might pick him up on sale, we'll see.

The mystery unlabeled Smokescreen is the Prime version, sick! Chest seems like it's not tabbed in in these picks, so I'd love to see better pictures down the line, but the car mode looks basically perfect, the head sculpt is solid, and it even looks like he has a molded-in Phase Shifter on his left arm! Definitely grabbing him too.

I suspect it's a combination of hand-painted prototype and also just how colors change when photographed, since Ratchet is also way brighter in some of those shots than others.

Knock Out would still have his kibble in the wrong spots like the Jazz retool, and I don't know that they'd do another Knock Out so soon, but someone's already digibashed a Bee and I'd absolutely be down (though presumably with different guns).

Smokescreen looks pretty good. Already own the Takara original, so not sure I really need to pick this up.

Maybe if they give us Prowl, Bluestreak or even Barricade repaints? Yes, I know, they were not in the show. But what else are you gonna do with a new Smokescreen mold?

Also, both Prowl and Barricade were repaints of Prime Smokescreen, so there is precedent. And that mold in balcony would look nice.



Ratchet may be a pass. The Trailbreaker mold fits him pretty well though.

Powerglide is a definite pickup though.

I'm not really a fan of how chubby the Powerglide alt mode is, looks kinda funny.

Also like Animated Ratchet, looks much better than I expected any retool of that mold to be.

I guess to finish it off too, Swerve looks pretty cool, I am OK with the faux wheels, I just wish his head was better
