With the rest of what they've done I say why the hell not. I think it would be kinda funny to se a death dealing ipod. After all it can't get any worse, can it?

Seeing as how actors have to pretend they are interacting with digital characters in movies that rely heavily on CGI, they could have just told him that's what was in a given scene with an actor. By the time they get a scene filmed and to the company doing CGI things can change.

On a lighter note, I never really gave it much thought but they can tell actors in CGI movies that they are interacting with whatever, then put them in really compromising situations in post. I think it would be funny to see that, kind of like the Colbert green screen thing.

I'm sure he's referring to Frenzy, givin the dimensions, and the way people refer to just about any music player as an "iPod" nowadays (pisses me off, cause I think iPods and Apple both suck).

There's apparently a scene that has several devices that turn into Transformers when they are near the AllSpark. We reported the news about an XBox transforming along with some other items back on June 11th, 2006:

if you've read the script, you would know about this.

SPOILERS!!

this guy has an ipod. an agent takes the ipod and puts it in a cage. there is tube coming from the allspark. glowing energy comes through the tube and transforms the ipod.

thats what the ipod tansformer is.

noo i dont think so cuz its only a breif thing in the movie. they may be in TF2, but i doubt they will in this one. we'll just have to wait and see i guess.

i really dont think the realgear are in this one. TF1 i think just introduces the idea, and involves the humans more. they may appear in the second one along with many other transformers...hopefully.

hey, they might just have soundwave in the movie and keep him true to his old form! There was a huge upset last year that he was not in the movie! Plus an actual Soundwave MP3 player is coming out in JULY, so maybe it was all a set up from the start! Movies always need a surprise. Soundwave would be the best surprise!
