I really don't buy it that TRU and other stores will take all the hundreds of Bumblebee repaints, but will not take the First Edition line on the basis that it's targeted to a collectors audience. Either way, It's a load of crap to me, and I wont take it anymore. To hell with the hole line, I'm spending it all on 3rd party!
I love it lol dosnt it seem the TF line is doing what Mattel does to dcuc and hasbro does to marvel legends. They make them harder to find cancel the figures everyone wants and then try's to make you buy the figures from their site to cut the middle man out. Remember when a new TF line came out and you went to a store and then had tons of them not just 4 or 5 figures sorry I should say 4 or 5 bumblebees. And what's with 2 new figures every 2 months and they only put one of each in a case of 8 figures. Toy collecting is going down the drain no matter what you collect these days. And I'm also buying a ton of 3rd party stuff this year atleast it's something that I want and my collection needs like perfect effect arcee that's a bad ass figure and is gonna look so good with my CHUG figures

Target and Walmart want the figures kids know BB and prime so hasbro puts more of those figure in case. Now it's obvious kids arnt buying the BB and primes cuz they sit on the pegs the only figures missing are the figures collectors want. I have 2 sons and they don't give a crap about TF and neither do their friends all they play is beyblade even at school all their friends trade parts with them. Now this is in my area maybe more kids like TF in yours. I think if hasbro wants to sell more TF they need to cater to collectors how do you think 3rd party companies do so well with their products and as far as kids being the main buyers of TF is bullshit who buys all the cases and figures on bbts TFsourse RK tfcc not kids. And as far as Mattel they just canceled their whole YJ like and their all star line from retail stores you have to buy them on Mattycollector.com but they are always sold out or you gotta have a subscription which is always sold out so collectors are forced to buy from eBay for triple the price and the same with TFs I find arch and ratchet I pay $24 for them put them on eBay and sell them for $40 every time oh plus shipping. People should be able to find these figures in stores no problem but nip cuz they are 1 to a case for wave 2 and 3

not haveing any sales to profit ratios or sales demographic figures either for hasbro or the rippoffers kinda renders this argument mute. so since I started this duel the choice of weapons is yours......please pick flame throwers at 5 paces.

So what's your reason only bumblebees and cliffjumpers sit on pegs and do you know why the last wave of dotm was canceled

or the slow economic recovery, rise in Chinese labour costs, higher shipping, and the expected fall off in non movie related sales, which only dropped 30% as opposed to the market expected 50%.

I'm getting Kup on the chance that Ironhide turns out to be Takara-only (like some of the other figures we heard about).Tyrannotaur wrote:Rumble and Airachnid will be mine. Gonna hold out on Kup until we get word on Ironhide. Dead End AKA Disco Wheeljack and Shadow BB I am passing on.
