Transformers the movie They were allways real to me
Have you noticed the footage from the original movie doesn't even mate the Transformers Universe video. The only parts that fit are right at the begining and at the end.
Megatron: I would have waited an eternity for this. It's over Prime.
Optimus Prime: Never!
Anyway I made a comparison of the two. They allso edited out part of the animation before even going to the CGI.

It doesn't matter to me. I still think it's awesome to see "real" G1 TF's duking in out.

It is a cool video but would of been nice if they'd use more of the original dialog at least. I kinda miss Megatron's "I'll rip out your optics!"

Not to sound rude but....why would you expect them too match up????
Its not like they intended to do a frame by frame copy from cell animation to CGI.
The back grounds are all different too.

Because they used the original animation from the movie to start it and part of the original dialog. It just looked like a remake of that original scene with missing footage.

It just never looked like a "RE-MAKE" to me.
Yeah they used some dialog and some original animation at the begining but it seemed to be more of a "look at what could have been" or a "look at what we can do now" video with some fan nods.

When I first saw the video it was after not seeing the original version for a while. I imediatly recognized the footage used and that something seemed out of place. I thought it was just that Hot Rod was missing from the scene. It wasn't till actully watching the movie again I realized Kup wasn't in it either and watching them both again back to back while editing was when I realized none of the fight scenes matched passed the first transition from original animation to CGI and the last blow at the end.
Allthough even that last scene at the end wasn't perfectly matched because Megatron didn't have his fusion cannon in the original. Allthough that I figured was done just so Megatron could look complete in the CGI.

So, it basicly comes down to it's not a frame by frame remake, so you don't like it?

I guess I never tried to look at that video as a "re-make".

Where did you get that from? I never said I didn't like it. I just said I wanted to mix in a bit more of the original footage and couldn't because there's not enouge footage that matches.
I was trying to make an exstended video and it turned into a comparison is all.

Nope, no where have I ever said that. I've only been talking about a video I was trying to edit togeather useing footage from both versions.
I've only stated my opinion of what I thought of the video once in here and I said.

So apperently I guess you thought "cool" means "it sucks".

Sounds like you're complaining about the footage not matching up to me.

I am complaining about the footage not matching up but not because I don't like the CGI video. I was complaining about it because (and I've said this like 8 times now) I wanted to make an exstended version useing more of the original footage.
It's the simple fact that I couldn't make a video I wanted to work on not because I didn't like the new version.
It's still a cool video, I love it ALOT better than Micheal Bay's piece of **** movie. I just can't use any of with the original stuff to make 1 long video.

Maybe you can get some TF fans who can do CGI together and make a fan film?

I noticed this any die hard fan of the animated movie could tell. It was probably changed for timing purposes and copyright. I've never seen a movie that accurately portrayed events from a book, comic, or other source. It's still awesome. Wish they do the whole anime movie like that.
