To complete my TR cassettes, I bit the bullet for the Bumblebee Cassette Pack. Pricey mainly because of 5hose damn taxes and shipping costs from Ebay. .

You have a blue "Ravage" because reasons. Then a Buzzsaw in actual gold colors like the G1 toy. Then Frenzy.

Plus a 1 Step Bee because gotta have a Bee. I'd rather have a 4th cassette instead, like Eject for Blaster.

Unless it specifies it on the box, nobody should be expected to know. Not everyone knows the Wiki pages inside and out. What month it is has nothing to do with it.

From just the box? No one, especially considering HasTak not including bios anymore, but if someone's a regular user on a site like this, I wouldn't expect their knowledge base to stop at what's on the box.

Correct, I certainly don't. I still can't keep all those JG1 big monster villain-things people keep bringing up on the TF-That-Will-Never-Be-Made thread apart, and I would argue those are certainly more obscure than a post-G1 G1 cassette repaint.

I expect people on this site to know about the main characters. Ravage, Buzzsaw, Laserbeak, Frenzy, and Rumble. Add Ratbat for good measure. For most people, Soundwave's cassettes stop there. The rest are just obscure no-names. Especially random repaints that seems to come out of nowhere.

If you have a one-shot no-name as your favorite, good for you. But don't expect the general public to know nor care.

I legitimately only bought that 4 pack for Wingthing, yes. Doubledealer's guys were kinda just bonuses as Doubledealer was on my "only on sale" list, and Frenzy is decidedly meh.

I don't understand why you're so weirdly aggro about this, am I misreading your intent? You didn't know who Howlback was despite owning them now, I gave you their name and gender to try to help and then cracked a joke, and you're acting (at least from my PoV) like I'm slamming you for not knowing them. I'm just genuinely confused/surprised that apparently cassette repaints are that obscure when people here talk about other post-G1 retroactive additions like Hauler and the Diaclone repaints or things like Black Zarak without batting an eye. I thought the only ones that were really obscure by forum standards were the Japan-only dinosaur ones that got rereleased with those gold SS Bees, the cancelled ones like Stinger, and probably Blackcat cuz I regularly forget Blackcat exists, as I assume those who are enough of TF nerds to be here aren't exactly "the general public".

Okay. Now that's really weird. Usually, that 4 pack was mainly to get Soundwave's missing minion and the DD guys. As for Wingthing, I found it's purpose. I slapped a

on it's chest and it became the second minion for my Kingdom Blaster.
I'd do the same for Howlback for my TR Blaster if it was not for the fact that I'll mess up the OG sticker if a stick a

on top.

I did end up appreciating that I had DD's guys once I did get DD, he just wasn't a for-certain purchase for me when that 4-pack got revealed. The WFC Frumble mold isn't great, and somehow I find that Knok wears it better than the actual Frumbles, so Frenzy was the least appealing part for me.

Blaster would have to appear in the movies first. The tape set was only done because "the 80s". Also it wasn't a rerelease, it was a retool.

It's a much better figure with more paint and actually fully upgrading him to a boombox rather than a weird stereo tape player. Would have been nice if the colors were G1 accurate, but he does have a lot of extra paint not found on the TR figure. I wonder what a retooled Blaster would have looked like?

BTW I hopped by Toy Snowman in Montreal. I got SS Premium Ratchet (voyager price but at last I have him), ER "Dead Optimus" (I may Repro him into THIS), and Legacy Skids (because one never have enough Skids).

Edit:
It make no sense that Dead Optimus Prime have his trailer. Monster is cool, but my Shattered Glass Optimus needs his trailer and that "dead" trailer will be perfect to convert into the Shattered Glass Trailer.

At least you now have it and IMO, that coloring works much better than the all yellow original. Especially for "hiding" the obvious arms under the jeep. Plus a bonus "army man" is always cool.
