Transformers Toy haul thread

This week haul:
From my local geek store, MPM Bonecrusher, Legacy Magmatron, and SS Bee Movie Shockwave.
From eBay, a toy that I skipped over and over at the time, but one I finally wanted it to pai with my Nova Prime, it was too late: Titan Return Sentinel Prime. A shame that I had to pay double of what I would have paid st the time, no thanks to the shipping. And it was the cheapest.
Finally, I'll cheat with a AliExpress purchase, a Maketoys Contact Shot. For a no box, it was only the price of a leader. In that box, I also got some 3D printed upgrades for Legacy Pont Blank and Frankentron.

At around 2am this morning, I made an impulse purchase at Amazon.ca because I had a 20$can coupon. So, 80$can plus taxes and free shipping for the Reactivate Soundwave and Optimus Prime set was acceptable.

Forgot to post that I got my SS Voyager Shockwave Monday from GameStop. He was supposed to arrive the Saturday before but just didn't, no explanation.
Same day delivery? Advantage of living in a city I guess. Soundwave is OK, but Prime is really cool!

Yeah, I pay for Prime, so I better get the privileges that goes with it!
And yeah, I mostly bought this set for Optimus, of course.

Toys R Us are back to overcharge the Transformers they sell. And by a lot.
Normally, a voyager is around 45$can to 50$can. But at TrU, they are a whopping 55$can. Plus taxes.
The only reason for a Canadian to go to TrU is for the occasional exclusive. Like for Origin Wheeljack here.
I do hope it will be worth it.
Found at Winners, the "few steps changer" RotB Bee.
For only 10$can, I got lots if bangs for my bucks! This may be my favorite Bee of the line.

Picked up wave 3 of the Jada Transformers Metal Figs. This is the one that's been sitting at Target and surprisingly it was included in the 20% off Transformers sale. I like these figures, they look good with Titans and combiners, but man are the releases confusing. There's something like three different sets all claiming to be Series 2 that I'm aware of. But I'm just buying them for scale, I don't actually care who's in each set as long as I get new characters which is why I haven't paid full price for any of these sets in the first place.

I've had an account with BBTS for a while, but this is the first time I've used their "Pile Of Loot" feature. I wanted to make sure I secured a few items which were going in and out of stock. Happy to say it works just as advertised! The box it all came in was gargantuan, which I found very amusing!
I was ready to complete my Trainbot team, so naturally I bought myself a Kaen. I sprung for the version with the extra bits so that I could store all of the Trainbot boxes nicely and try out the flight stand compatibility.
There's also Cybertron Starscream, a highly anticipated figure for me and many others, so I made sure to add him when he came back in stock.
Missing Link Convoy, although the one without the trailer, as my brother is getting the version with it. But I still wanted to get in on this Missing Link excitement!
I also bit on the Takara Ultimate ROTB Primal. Looks like a really fun figure.
Speaking of ROTB, there is also the Blokees model kit for Arcee. As the Studio Series figure is based on the earlier design, I sprung for this as a compromise - this will be my representation of the final model, and the SS on will be the "real" one that actually transforms. It has also just been a while since I've built anything, so putting the kit together will be fun!
Speaking of building things, after I found out that Mega Bloks was making a set featuring The Beatles, I couldn't pass it up! As big a fan of the Beatles as I am, I don't have much merchandise besides albums (mostly because I save my money for Transformers), but this was particularly appealing since it was more than just static memorabilia. The little Beatle figures are actually posable and everything!
A very exciting package. I should be occupied for quite some time!

I discovered that the ROTB "few steps changers" are good. REALLY GOOD.
So I paid full price for Scourge that I ordered from Amazon.
No regrets. Well worth the price. The only flaws are no knees, no elbows, no neck. But appart that, the transformation is cool and simple, plus there's a decent amount of paint and details for such a simple figure.

Got Legacy Silverbolt and Thundertron from AmiAmi yesterday. Normally I only buy Transformers that have sold out here or are hard to find at a decent price, but right now Transformers are cheaper to import, especially since I already have monthly orders with them so the shipping isn't much of an issue.
Thundertron: 4080jpy / $26.10
Tigerhawk: 7170jpy / $45.87
Couldn't beat that.

Tiny haul. An Authentic "deluxe" Starscream. Not too bad for just 3$can more expensive than a Core.
The bot is a floppy mess but at least the jet is solid. Plus there's lots of paint everywhere. That's surprising.

Gotta love getting figures earlier than expected!
Originally when checking Saturday morning they said Magmatron was coming 5/31, then I got an email from Amazon Saturday night saying 5/20, then two emails this morning from USPS saying 5/20, and finally a third email from USPS saying today, and sure enough, they dropped it off for a rare Sunday delivery.
Hopefully that means Tidal Wave will be shipping in June instead of the current worst case date of 8/1.

I earn points through work for keeping up with my health benefits that I can trade in for Amazon gift cards so Magmatron and Tidal Wave were paid for outright and I've got enough to cover CC Optimus Prime when he launches as well. I could have done the same with CC Ultra Magnus last year and gotten him for free, but I put on MOTUO Snake Mountain instead, UM still hasn't grown on me.

The yen think itself as the Canadian dollars versus the American dollars nowadays. 1$CAN is worth 115JPY and 1$US is worth 156JPY! This mean that it's now very worth it to import from Japan.
Add this on top that small air packet is finally available again at Mandarake. This mean that after 4 long years, it's finally worth it to shop at Mandarake again!
I ordered a used Movie The Best MB-01 Optimus Prime. The total costs, including shipping, was worth around the same total price that I paid Origin Wheeljack at Toys R Us!
The colors are 100X better than the AoE original. Plus, all the joints are scaringly tight. Still awesome after all these years.

Today I went to Walmart for my grosseries. I took a look at the TF section and they didn't had much. So, to not come empty handed, I finally decided to take Legacy Windblade.
And woah.
Appart the inevitable backpack in bot mode, this Windblade may have the cleanest, most solid jet mode to date.

I'm way out of town so I took my chances at a Walmart. Not much over there as expected, but at least I found the "few steps changer" ROTB Optimus Prime.
Too bad that no knees nor elbows, but that Opis REALLY good. It look very nice in both modes and the transformation is satisfying to do. Like a plastic stress ball.

I've been killing it at a new Target that opened at my local mall. I'm quickly liking it more than the Target that I've been going to for the last decade. Today I was able to snag Sandstorm and Gears at heavy discounts. Basically half price for Sandstorm at $24.49 and Gears for $17.49. My other recent purchases here were all for less than full price as well!

From eBay, I got the Bishoujo Bumblebee. She's adorkable.
Plus, 150$CAN taxed and shipped ain't bad.
Now, only Optimus remains. I'll wait for a sale or used opportunity.
