Didn't we all know she was supposed to be in it, & had already had all the artwork done aaaaaages ago?

Besides, her mode isn't that much of a surprise, the movie line deluxe figure sorta gives it away.

Wow, this really isn't news expect maybe to noobs who just joined this site after seeing the movie. It was confirmed a long time ago that Arcee was in the original script but was replaced in favor of Ironhide. The image you've found is her movie concept art that was shown at BotCon. Look, there's even photos of it on this site. Imagine that!

I'm not trying to be mean but it really irritates me when people don't just do a simple Wikipedia seach and waste everyone's time posting stuf that's common knowledge to most of us.

From Wikipedia (searched "Arcee")

"Arcee was initially set to be in the 2007 Transformers film, but due to fan complaints was dropped from the script and replaced with Ironhide. Arcee was also left out due to lack of time to explain the presence of a female in a robotic race.[1]

According to her tech spec Arcee received combat training from Ironhide."

I know she was going to be in it and was replaced but i never seen any concept art. I found out about her being in it only a few months ago and i didnt know if it was true or not because not everything on wikpedia is true. When i found out the truth thats when i posted this which was today. I really hate people who think they are a smart ass with there remarks towards someone who has been a TF fan forever. I only found this website a few days ago "WOW IMAGINE THAT" so how the hell am i going to know if it was already talked about?

How would you know? Possibly by looking through the Botcon pics on this site or any other big TF site considering they all covered Botcon. I don't care how long you've been a fan, is that an excuse for not researching something before posting it? Sorry bro but I'm the type of person who tries to seek out answers on my own and I only come here to post a question as a last resort. It can be quite irritating when someone posts info that's well known or questions that could be easily answered with 2 minutes of searching.

This is incredibly old news...fans didn't react well so they took her out and added Ironhide.

I see a lot of people on here who had no clue she was going to be in it. And if you come on this site a s alast resort, Then theres no need for you to come on here. And again, I knew she was going to be in it but all rumors are not true and as long as i have been a fan of TF, I never came on TF fan sites because of people like you.

Hey you guys ... I don't care if this is old news or new news or what. This isn't how we treat new members on the site. The majority of people who like Transformers aren't uber-geeks like us that have been following every single piece of trivial information about the Transformers brand or the Transformers movie for the past few years.

I want to make it very clear to everyone on this site that it is NOT a pre-requisite to search places like Wikipedia or the Seibertron.com news sections or galleries before asking a question or posting a comment here on these forums. The whole point of the forums is to have discussions. If new people can't come here and ask questions about things, how are they supposed to learn about stuff? Isn't that the whole point of having forums on the site? To discuss things?

I guess I would expect more from some of the people that have been here for a long time. I feel that your role on the site would be to openly welcome new people and help new people find the information that they're asking about. Rather than criticising BumbleBee83, someone should have politely posted links to information that would help answer BumbleBee83's comments or curiosities.

There has been a ton of new people visiting the site ... I hope you guys will help new members instead of criticizing them in the future. Thanks.

I want to say sorry to Seibertron for posting this topic even though i had no clue it was talked about before. I will be sure to not make this mistake again. I am a Transformers geek and i follow everything on it but i have to be honest, I never heard of the arcee news being true untill today. Up untill today i thought it was a rumor. I dont think that not knowing something should be the judge if you are a transformers fan or not. But again im sorry.

This is supposed to be a place for all TF fans old and new alike to gather. Remember, at some point you were all new to not just this site, but also to the Transformers world.

I agree. We all start somewhere. And I would like to point out for the record. Notice that a lot of the people giving you grief are new here as well. Do not worry about it. Never be afraid to ask questions.

I didn't know about Arcee's possible appearance in the movie unti lately, so *shrugs*.

I really like her third concept design in that picture. Makes her look more "androgynous", as should the race be. (Being genderless and all) That whole -hips- and -boobs- thing is really more of a human thing, (made by human artist ) So yea, it'd be cool for her to show up eventually. I just hope they don't make her a bot of Estrogen induced, flirtatious femmed weakling. She wasn't like that before, and certainly shouldn't be now just cuz of our stereotypical hollywood motifs.

I saw a picture of the movie toy, and I have to say they killed the entire figure with that ugly face. She looked like a rotten tomato. They need to fix her face some. In the movie (when she is finally introduced [she doesn't need to look like Megatron's sister]) and with her new line of toys.

She easily could have been in it. It was already mentioned that she should have been the bike Lennox took the ride under Blackout with. The bike could've been pink already, and it could have been animated by the allspark. She would have been a newborn, untrained Transformer, like DewBot, but instead of attacking everything in sight, have her afraid of her new surroundings and hiding for most of the battle.

Have a short scene with Bumblebee or Ratchet coaxing her out after the battle and throw her into the final scene with some kind of explination that the Autobots were teaching her and training her to be one of them.

And Loki..wasn't Arcee an experienced bot? It would be really wierd to have her be a newbie. Making her weak and stuff.

But I really need me some DewBot love. Now that I think back at it, that was really funny. WTF HAPPENED TO THAT THING?! Ran out of "ammo" and self destructed? lol!!
