Back at TFW there's this thread called Unpouplar opinions that deals with people talking about opnions that aren't exactly popular at either the site they're in or the fandom in general. I figured it would be neat to talk about some of our unpopular opinions as well.

Here are some of mine.

I don't mind Bumblebee being mute nowadays.

I don't hate the FOC designs.

I like most of the Prime Autobots more then most of the Animated Autobots.

The humor and witty talk in MTMTE seems to be too perfect and staged to be realistic.

Miko's not really the worst TF human out there not when ones like ROTF Leo or some of the Armada kids exist.

Most of Prime's flaws aren't any worse then most of the flaws in other TF series that didn't do them any better.

Both Beast Wars and Prime have some of the better written fembots by far in the franchise.

While the movies are far from perfect they aren't really on Batman and Robin levels of awful though ROTF comes close.

I don't believe that everything has to slavishly pay tribute to G1. I believe that it's okay to branch out, to create unique interpretations of things, and that Michael Bay isn't a demon spawn.

Alright i'll bite:

#1 I don't like TF-Prime Wheeljack, I think he's kind off an asshole.

#2 In my opinion Transformers Dark of the Moon is the worst of the three Bay movies.

#3 Kiss players doesn't bother me because I know there's far worse in the world of manga. :HEADHURTS:

#4 I like the character design for the fan built bot Windblade.

#5 I detest the use of the first edition starscream mold for Slipstream, Starscream is built like a dandy not a woman. [-(

#6 I kinda like the FOC combaticons, well at least in G2 colors.

1) G1 throttlebots suck

2) TFP Airaranid is not that bad of a toy

3) Knockoffs rock because they (re)make figures neither Hasbro nor Takara will make

4) Gobots are cool and should be incorporated into Transformers.
And anyone who disagrees can suck my ....

5) Bot Shots suck. I don't get the appeal.

Soundwave, Grimlock, Bumblebee, the Seekers; man, are they overrated. I really don't understand why people love them so much. I really don't.

And here's another good one I'm sure you'll all approve of: First Aid is not a pacifist. Unless we've all forgotten, that's Groove's schtick.

Please don't bother bringing up The Ultimate Weapon, either. I know it claims that First Aid hates fighting, but as far as I'm concerned, they used the wrong Protectobot and screwed up royally (I still love the episode, despite that).

Is this a bad time to point out that in the French broadcast of the G1 cartoon, Starscream was female?

The Japanese never had that problem - they had Frenzy appear in the cartoon from episode 1 and Rumble from episode 14. Actually the worse mess is that Sideswipe is yellow and Sunstreaker is red

Actually even if you check his tech spec profile, his almost neurotic levels of compassion infer it's a pacifist.

When a bot's tech spec reads

Hates seeing any machine in pain -- even those who don't know it, like a broken street lamp or an overheated car.

Then it's a pretty safe bet that he's hardly about to inflict pain on others willingly or even if there's any way he can help it.

In the French dub of The Transformers: The Movie, Starscream (along with Shrapnel) inexplicably became a female. This change, however, was only for the movie, as it used a different dubbing team from the television show. Most likely, the movie's French dubbing team mistook Starscream's rather high-pitched voice for a woman's voice. In the series his portrayed as a man in France, and Quebec Jacques Ferrière and Jean-Louis Millette respectively.

Also there was that Atari-scream indecent in kiss play, but that dosen't really count as it was a man-bot's ghost possessing a young girls body.
