I know, right? Hasbro should have asked you first about designing an Astrotrain figure, made it to your expert specifications, and sold it to you and everyone else for absolutely free! What were they thinking?

Someone's a little salty. You do know what an opinion is, right? I was saying that the reasons Zelda said the figure was made weren't reasons I agree with. He and I have been going round and round on this since the figure was released. But I guess I should have just listened toZeroWolf's advice.

I recently picked up Road Rage and I just opened it only to realize how his feet were engineered and they should have been designed way better. I didn't even notice this on Tracks foolish me after watching a couple of brief reviews!

Critisism and Compliments are every fan/consumers right. I totally get it. But at the same time, why do I feel like in 2035 we'll be criticizing the 7th take on Generations Astrotrain, but we still won't have proper Generations updates of some original 1984-1992 Transformers characters?

I get your vibe…
& that could happen. Hopefully not on all accounts.
I personally feel like Siege Astrotrain was a missed opportunity.
And I really wish he would’ve made the SS86 line-up, & had more of an aesthetic like Hot Rod, Cyclonus, & Scourge…
Either way, I’m very confident I’ll be out of the game in 5 years, hopefully sooner.
I’m starting to predict 2024 will be the last year I buy any TF.

You're forgetting fans in awe at the umpteenth take of G1 84 Optimus Prime

Meanwhile we'll never likely get a new articulated road ceasar. Also probably no new multiforce/land cross.

Legacy characters like Prime, Megatron etc I've come to the foregone conclusion will Always have new updates, Hasbro always wants them on the shelf in some form. I just noted Astrotrain as he is secondary, but some fans still Keep wanting a redo for some reason.
I'm not sure if you read my wishlist or not, but that is part of the problem. Road Caesar and the multi force are long overdue. I'm looking to TT Selects more than Hasbro, but it really wouldn't even be that difficult.
I don't see myself getting out of collecting completely. But it will be extremely slow, like maybe 1 or 2 items a year.
*edit*
Oh wow...how amazingly relevant is this? I've been watching Scott Neitlich's videos for a couple months now, and have found them to be incredibly insightful, even therapeutic at times

I think that is just fans being spoiled. It wasn't my idea of perfect, so it needs to be redone. Hell, people are already clamoring for a new skids because the one just revealed is off to some.
Meanwhile, you know who I feel really sorry for? Sandstorm, stuck in T30 while every other original triple changer got more recent updates with Astrotrain and Blitzwing getting 2 updates since then.

T30 was originally my bar for "we don't need a new version of "said character" if it has been done since T30". I've become a little more sympathetic as we get closer to the 10 year mark, but still, any OG character that hasn't had an update since the 80's/early 90's is who I Really, REALLY feel sorry for. then it's any OG character that hasn't had an update in 10+ years.

My Tigatron order was cancelled by Amazon. However, Waspinator has been shipped, very strange.
I'd love it if Tigatron appears sometime this month somewhere to buy, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Given the ship unloading backlog at LA and Long Island ports it seems unlikely we'll get anything soon.

I'm a big fan of G1 and of Optimus, but even I can't see how they can improve him much at this stage in the game. The Kingdome figure is really very nice.
That said, they will always find a way to make him seem different enough in hopes of getting people to buy another figure.

Um, he's already up for pre-order, but sold out on Pulse and Amazon. BBTS might be your best bet.

Re: War for Cybertron Kingdom Discussion The Beasts Return!
just pulled the trigger on an ARK from smyths in ireland as the price drop to €149.99 made him worth it.
now i just gotta wait for roddy to go down to as a hunderd euro is still too much.
gotta say though i keep getting drawn to ractonite. i dont really like the weaponiser/fosiliers gimmick of them all coming apart instead of actually transforming. but that dino mode is damn cool.

Because you are someone who possesses the gift of seeing into the future.
Also, it's not Hasbro but the retailers that want Prime, Bumblebee, Megs, and Starscream on the shelf at all times.

Having given it some thought, after months of telling myself I wouldn't, I think I probably will buy Rodimus Prime soon. I'm thinking for my collection head-canon, he can be like the Energon version of Rodimus, a gruff war veteren who's away from the main Autobots doing his own thing, while Siege Springer and Studio Series Blurr can be my head-canon's version of Landmine and Prowl. I think it could work.
I'm late to the party on Blaster, but he looks pretty good, though I'm undecided on whether or not to buy him. I'm pleasantly surprised that he's an original mould instead of an extensive retool of Netflix Soundwave, I like the radio mode a lot more than Soundwave's. and Eject doesn't look too bad in translucent blue plastic. I do wonder if and when the other Autobot cassettes will happen, at the very least I'd like a Steeljaw.
