I wouldnt complain if they did. I saw they made an oversized FP Explorer in crazy pink colors. But they simplified the wing transformations and it doesnt look so great without the "tux" look.

Just to remind people about the scale here (may need a TFW account to see the pic). WB is about a head taller than Uranos, but had MASSIVE shoulders.

I wouldn't mind Warbotron's size compared to Uranos so much is Uranos wasn't already taller than Herc. This set looks amazing, but they've sized themselves out for me, in a similar way that Colossus has been sized out because combiners just keep getting bigger.

I suppose I'm betting on TFC making a Bruticus to go with their other combiners.

I'm in the same boat as well...I love Bruticus, my favorite, and I think Warbotron reeks of awesome, but I've backed the TFC combiners (I've got Herc and Uran, and now got the first Defensor-bot in my POL) and figure that they will eventually make their own Bruticus that will be in scale with their other combiners. Here's to hoping.

I don't get the fuss about wanting all the combiners the same height , i like different sizes i mean i don't want all my deluxe scale or mini-bots or voyager scale transformers the same height , for me it would be pretty boring having a collection that all stood eye to eye

I still don't think the Combaticons or Bruticus will come looking any better than this, i'm all in .

I agree that we probably will never see a better look Bruticus than this.

What rules me out isn't the fact that I'm looking for perfectly scaled combiners, but relative scale. I don't mind Bruticus being bigger than Superion but I do not want my Bruticus towering over Devastator and/or Predaking.

Oh my...every time I look into the monitor at this guy my pants sizzle! I think I finally justified(lied) to myself that Bruticus should be my largest gestalt, MT Giant is gonna look silly next to him but oh well.

This might be the biggest disappointment I've ever faced in collecting Transformers, quite literally. Such an awesome looking figure. But waaaaaay too big.

I agree. It looks awesome, but whay so big ? I would be all over this if they were the size of giant or hercules. But I dont need a giant bruticus on my coffee table scaring visitors.

Everything I want in Bruticus. Except it opens up a whole new size class in combiners I don't need. It looks amazing, though.

I'm just waiting for the Swindle to come out. Patiently waiting.

I'm thinking maybe I'll just buy one of the bots, but they're all so big I don't know what to scale it with. Maybe just buy an Onslaught.. but I don't know I'll probably be disappointed if I have him and not be able to ever combine it.

Just for reference though, Herc's head is at about the same height as Bonecrusher's blade on Giant.

i think we're getting a serious lot of bang for our buck compared to other 3rd party combiners, but now i find myself wondering if he won't be too big compared even to tall uranos, who is already taller than hercules. fp's menasor looks like a complete midget

bigger means better? this looks bad to me. really short torso.. maybe its the pose.

Yes, he will be MUCH taller than Uranos.
I doubt the top of Uranos' head will reach his chin.

It IS a lot of bang for the buck though, which is why I have not yet cancelled my preorder.
The shot with Streak makes it pretty clear they were going for an MP size range, as the limb-bots are comparable to him.
I can only guess Onslaught will be the size of Prime/Soundwave.

As much as I'm into Warbotron, there's been too many hints by Takara designers that the first MP combiner will be Bruticus, I'm tempted to hold out.

would you mind telling me about these hints? because this seems to have escaped my attention. an MP bruticus you say?

I'm totally OK with 3P stuff for the MP line, as long as I believe Takara won't get to it, or at least not for a very long time.

The failure with Warbotron for me, like Krank & Stax, is it is not quite as beholden to the animation as I would like.

That's why I got Quakewave, and that's why I'm planning to pick up the Daca Skyfire & Cubex Huff. I don't expect Takara to produce any of those characters, at least not any time soon, and all are very G1 'toon inspired.

I assumed this would be a bit bigger than Herc & Uranos, and that's OK for me, but the latest images now prove this is just too large a combiner to fit my collection.

Sad, because I really, really liked it.
