Did anyone snag the Rescue Ratchet and Thundercracker I hid at the Renton Walmart this morning???

My movie line search is finally OVER!! Just for kicks I decided to call the White Center Target and give them the Starscream repaint number (087060006)and was told that they had 6 in two different locations in the back!!! She said she would hold it for me...showed up and she delivered!!

Thanks to all who helped me along the way!!!

This location did have the following:

longarm x1
payload x1
repaint jazz x1
all third wave scouts

Good Score, Skyblast! Happened exactly how I told my kids it would go if I were to stumble across one. They asked me why I hadn't deleted it from my checklist if it was discontinued and your scenario is exactly why. With all the years my mom worked at Target, I got to know the habits of the stock teams pretty well, just couldn't keep the stock days straight.
Hey Tony, don't know how your school/work schedule goes, but I know that if at all possible on the 16th, I plan on hitting stores before and after work in the North end.(provided I'm working in Mt.Vernon that day.) If you are able, do you want to split the workload. Between us and Matt (if you are able, don't mean to volunteer you) we can cover 5 Targets from Smokey Pt. to Lynnwood with a few Wal-Marts thrown in for good measure. Anyone else care to help patch the holes in that "net"? I'll be putting money aside just for this run. I want to watch my kids' jaws hit the floor when this is all over.

skyblast mentioned in a previous post that the 16th was on a Sunday.. it actually falls on a Tuesday (sorry skyblast!)

Other than the DVD and the possibility of the Best Buy exclusive voyagers being released, was there something else being released?

I just posted a question to all in the general toy forum to verify what was coming out and when? I listed what I knew but I'm sure it's full of holes.

Hey T.

Unfortunately Tuesdays are the worse days for me in terms of work and school. I'm in Seattle from 7am-9pm. I do have some breaks in between, so I'll try to make a stop at Northgate Target and Toys R Us. We'll see how that works out.

On another note, I just put in an order for a MP Skywarp. I can't wait for it to come.

Well after work I stopped at the Northgate Target and they had the usual stuff..Robot Replicas, Cyber Slammers and a few other things but no Deluxes. Just plenty of other merchandising.

Then I stopped at the Lynnwood Target and they had about 5 Evolution 2 packs. I snagged one (yay) and am now almost caught up. All I have left is Ultimate BB.

And I am glad you have a MP Skywarp on the way Tony, you won't be disappointed!

Sounds like everyone has what they need, but if anyone is still searching in the south-sound, Puyallup Walmart has all the early wave Deluxes (Old BB, Skorp, Barracade), and Voyager Prime, Rescue, T-Cracker, Voyager Megs. I can pick them/stash them if anyone needs. Also, if anyone still by chance needs Leader Prime in the South-sound area, I still have an extra (been lazy about craigslisting it for retail price). Let me know.

(use robot voice) NOTHING.. LEFT.. TO.. BUY... :( Can anyone reccomend a good transfomer psychologist?

Seriously though maybe there is more to get? Would you guys consider "Leader for the Ages" 2-pack as one left to buy from the movie line? Yeah and I guess there is the legends 5 pack from TRU....the completist in me says maybe there is more? Man, I just need to stop.

Feel the same way, I never realized that I had OCD till I started buying these toys. Now that I am prettymuch done (even passed on Rescue and T-Cracker), I feel defeated or something. I think for me it was the chase rather than the final reward of having them. I havent bought the "non-movie" movie stuff, but had many chances, but feared that it would open a whole can of worms that I did not need to open at this time. Although if I need that rush again, I may have to do that.

Dude I love it!! You are so damn honest and you know what? I agree with you 100% all the way. You're right it is about the rush. Walking into a store with very little of the spending that you and your wife have each given each other, seeing that dope ass desert 2-pack and saying, I must have it. Buying it feels really good. I also play that mind game, right now is exactly like going back in time to G1 toys. They are right here in front of me right now! Someday these movie toys will be worth a butt load. So yes for me it's also about the future!!! I plan on holding onto one of each movie toys misb for many, many years to come. Someone also mentioned how physically crappy these toys were made and that within about 10 years or so they will be very desirable/rare.

Oh well, off to collect the entire series TF movie Christmas ornaments. syke

I just came back from the university place walmart. And they had a ton of stuff! I picked up both bumblebee's, rescue ratchet, thundercracker, dreadwing and leader megatron. They still had leader brawls, thundercrackers, optimus, megatron and rescue ratchet.

No Problem Tony, I found out today that I might be working down in Federal Way next week so that would make a massive North End run for me pretty close to impossible.
As for the news about Skywarp...very cool. I'm just not sure, between you and Matt, whether I should live vicariously through you guys or use "Peer Pressure" as a lame excuse and get one for myself.

Looks like all Targets just got a shipment in of Deluxes waiting to be put out for the movie release. I wonder if any of the new wave is part of that...hmmmm...probably not but we can hope.

I have been searching for Joes for my cousin in Canada. Got him the first two 5-Packs (which are everywhere), and also have had some pretty good luck thus far on the singles at Walmart. Have found 10 of the 15 that are released (which I think is pretty good). Need me to look for any of them for you? Walmart seems to have the best prices/availability on them.

BTW, does anyone know anything about Comics, I am about to bust into some of my stuff at my mom's house from back in the day. I think I traded most for Baseball cards, but still should have some. I don't think most of them are worth anything, but may have some questions to ask someone eventually.

I forgot to post (cause today was the day form living hell when it comes to work). Everett Wal-mart has a gigantic restock of wave 1 and wave 2 Deluxes including a few old Bumblebee's. There was also the new wave of FAB's there including BB. Darth Vader Death Star was also there (I can't afford him now... ). Oh they also had 1 Thundercracker and 2 Rescue Ratchets.

Lynnwood Target ass of 1:00PM had like 10 Evolution of a Hero Bumblebee 2 packs...

Also I want to state that THIS WEEKEND will be the weekend for Imax Transformers. I will be going on Saturday to either the 4:00 or 7:00 showing (depending on what you guys say). I would like to see a few of you there...I know T said he wouldnt have money for last week, but would for this weekend. Hopefully if you don;t have too much classwork Tony, you up for it? Any of you who want to show up would be cool. I have already met Tony and T, but nobody else yet.

Skyblast: Smokey Point Target had a decent selection of Joes around the end of last week. (Kinda made me miss my old collection.)

Barrelass: What sort of Comics you talking about? TF line or just older comics in general? I don't know an incredible amount about comics but I do know that trying to move several hundred of them into one's storage unit is damn hard on the back. (I know a bit more than that but that tidbit stands out in my mind the most). I'm familiar with a few comic shops from Everett to Kenmore so I could point you in the right direction if I am unable to help.

ACS/Matt: What was the tix. price again? Definitely count me in. I may have to do a few hours work on Sat. morning but I'll bust through Hells gates to go catch this event once I have cash in hand

Everybody else: Be Afraid!! I recieve my check tomorrow morning and my boss has no work ready for me till Thursday.(PLAY TIME! )
Once I pay bills, set aside money for the 16th and for IMAX, and put gas in my car the remainder is mine and may God have mercy on all the toy stores I descend upon, 'cause I'll be showing none where filling the holes in my collection is concerned. BTW, anybody knowing where I can find Scout Class Strongarm and Robot Heroes: Starscream and Mirage, please let me know. Thanks.

Tony the Imax I think they are like 9 or 10 dollars...maybe a few more I forget. Can't wait to meet up.

Lynnwood Wal-Mart had a single Concept BB and Arcee...I almost grabbed the BB to keep in package but I slided on it for someone else. Hopefully it wont be a scalper.

skyblast wrote:Also has anyone see or been looking out for 25th anniversary GI joe items? That stuffs hard to find.

I actually just started collecting them last night... As a kid me and my brother had a TON of G.I. Joe figures...my dad was in the Air Force so it was a good toy line for us. I still have like 2 tubs filled with them and vehicles.

Last night I grabbed Snake Eyes (always been my favorite) with Timber. Today I grabbed from the Lynnwood Wal-Mart Sgt. Stalker, Storm Shadow and a Cobra Soldier. They had a Snake Eyes and Stormshadow left.

I'm going to assume that they consider Transformers to be a special engagement and are charging $10.50 (I finally got through to the Pacific Science Center site. Was having issues earlier which is why I asked about the price)
So I guess that now all we have to do is figure out which showing we are going to: 4:00 or 7:00? We should also get a rough idea, at least to satisfy my own curiosity, how many of us will be converging on the theater and whether anyone may need transportation. The 14th is the last day it's showing which means we definitely have to pounce on this now or wait till 2009 to catch TF2. (I'm so glad that today is payday!)

Has Anyone Seen An Original Movie Starscream In A While? I'm From The Tacoma Area And I Just Can't Seem To Locate Any More Of The Guy...I Need Him To Finish My Movie Characters Set (Truthfully, I Need The Concept Camaro Bumblebee Too, But I Can Wait On Him)
Please Excuse The Way I Type, I Have Been Doing This For So Long, It Would Be Near Impossible To Retrain...
