So, out of some crazy whim, me and my fiancee decided to hell with planning some big fancy wedding and just going to the justice of the peace and getting it done. After waffling around the idea for about a year, and wondering if we should get it done before our baby is born (she's due in three days!), this morning we drove to the court house, got the license and exchanged vows.

After that, I had to go to work (don't ask, no wedding bliss and honeymoon for us...at least, not yet). "So what did you do today?"
"Well, we woke up got breakfast, got married, and went to work...you know the usual."

Anyway, while my wife was out bring running errands, the house was broken into. She came home to find the house destroyed. Luckily, it doesn't look like the f-up got away with much of anything, just a digital camera (a very expensive digital camera), but that can be replaced. The only thing I'm concerned about is the all the paperwork on my desk which was obviously rifled through. I would love to pull out this guy's lungs through his nose.

So now one of the best days of my life (the best will be the birth of my daughter!) is mixed with a really crappy day.

There's my rant.

Sorry to hear that Loki. Don't know you well but you seem like a cool dude. I hope that whoever broke into your place gets what's coming to him. One way or another.

I'm sorry to hear that your house was borken into. Some people are shiftless cowards afraid to make a buck out of their own sweat and tears. I assure you, while I'm no batman, his upins will come.

On a much happier note, congradulations on both getting married and the future birth of your daughter. I don't have any kids myself, but I have two neices and a nephew that mean the world to me. Be sure to post some pics of the proud poppa when it all settles down.

Well after my boss just found me screwing around and I explained what I was doing, he says run as far and as fast as your can. There's still time to save yourself he says. blah blah blah...

Thanks for the move and the congrats. Whatever happens, I'm just glad my wife is okay, and I'm really looking forward to my daughter being born. Believe me, if I have anything to do with it, she's going to be a Transformer fanatic!

Update: They almost caught him! He was robbing a house down the street while the cops were at our house. The owners walked in on him and he bolted, and the cops didn't get there in time.

ya. i was gonna suggest naming ur daughter after a transformer . jk. ya im sorry that ur house got robbed. maybe u can get sum autobot to track him down(hound?) and kill him or make him suffer. i think im going to far with this. but congrats on the double win

If you had lived in Florida and been home when he broke in, you could have killed him in anyway you'd like.

You know, a couple of years ago, my sister's house got broken into, and I have to tell ya, anyone who could do such a thing for their own financial gain or similar is scum, and low rate scum at that!

Hey counterpunch is right, same gose in Texas, and instead of a spoon you could of used a plastic spork, then i would of demanded pictures, and video. but thats just me.
