Note only do I love the movie, I love the whole process of how it was conceived, developing the story, Ridley Scott and James Cameron, the special effects and Giger's ground-breaking work. I find every aspect of the movie fascinating.
I've also been having horrific, recurring nightmares about the Alien creatures for the last 15 years.
..... which is awesome.

Actually, the gorilla alien's gimmick was that it could spit acid (obviously with the toy, water was used for health and safety reasons)

Terminator > Aliens > Alien > Alien 3 (special edition) > Terminator 2 > Alien 3 (theathrical cut) > Alien Resurrection > Predator > Terminator 3 > Predator 2.

Hey, the toys aren't completely forgotten!
We need to see some of those in a Aliens 5.
Of course, you'd be running the risk of making it a remake of Gremlins 2.

I liked the thought better, that an Alien born from a dog is bearing some of the dogs properties, like it doesn't fear fire that much, and it walks on four legs. The scene it borns from a cow ruins it a little for me.

Wouldn't an Alien born from a cow have some of a cow's "traits?" As it would have an udder or something?Chaoslock wrote:Jesus Prime wrote:Ignoring how ridiculously low you rated "The Terminator", how did you put the theatrical cut of "Alien 3" above the special one?

Not necessarily.
That ending, at least, needed to be there to explain how the Xenomorphs (Aliens) end up on a vessel in space rather than still stuck inside that pyramid given that AvP is a prequel when put into the Alien movies timeline.
